---Riley POV--
I was still reeling from what happened last night, I couldn't help but chuckle. She was really cute and such a handful. I bet she doesn't even remember doing that. I left Blake back at the club when I left, I am sure he left with someone. It was still pretty early in the morning so I just did my normal workout and then decided to spend the rest of the day just playing video games. I just sat down and set up to play call of duty when I received a call.
"Riley! You left me by myself, dude. What happened to bro code?" Blake said
I just laughed and said, "I didn't think you wanted me to watch you have fun. Are you some kind of pervert?"
"Fair enough. I saw you leave with some hot babes last night. Did you have yourself some fun? You are usually pretty uptight."
"Shut up asshole. No, I did not bang some strangers, I simply dropped them off and came home. I didn't think you needed my company."
"Haha, I know what that is code for. You got some. Hey, can we hang out later? Donnie said he wanted to catch up too since he has been so busy lately."
" Come on I am tired of seeing your face." I groaned. I just wanted to have a day to myself.
"Idiot, we are going to come by your house later so make sure you order takeout and drinks. I know your antisocial ass isn't doing anything but eating and playing video games." He said then hung up. My friends can be so annoying but I would do anything for them so I guess it is okay. I have a really big penthouse apartment. It overlooks New York City, and that view is worth all the millions I paid to get this place.
Donnie and Blake came by and we just hung out and talked about a bunch of stuff. I told them what happened last night and they teased me mercilessly.
"Anyway, I have something important to say," I said.
"What's up?" They both said at the same time.
"I want to quit MMA. My heart is just not in it anymore. I'm going to officially relinquish the belt tomorrow."
"What? Are you sure? I mean you loved it." Donnie asked confused.
"Yeah, I'm sure. It is about time, I mean I have held the championship for the past five years and I don't think there's anything more for me there."
"Okay, no problem. You know we will always support you in whatever you wanna do you know that." Blake confidently said.
"Well, if you wanna mooch off me no problem. The club is doing pretty well these days and I am ready to open another location soon." Donnie said proudly.
"Really? That's a great dude. I am proud of you." I hugged him and pat him on the back." I won't mooch off you though, I want to open a gym. I've made plenty of money fighting might as well put it into something worthwhile."
"Both of you guys are doing amazing, I think I will keep boxing for a while longer. I'm gonna invest in both of your new businesses. Let us make even more money guys. " Blake jumped around excitedly, "Let us order some more drinks and get this little party going." He hollered.
We drank for a bit longer and Donnie suddenly asked, "Did you leave your number for that pretty girl?" I was so shocked by the question I spat out my drink and my face turned so red. My buddies laughed so hard that they fell on the floor.
"Shut up losers," I said embarrassed.
---Ruby POV---
I wanted to shove my head into a deep dark hole never to be seen again. My face was bright red as I remembered the events of last night. I just want to die right about now. I couldn't even bring myself to tell Sophie what happened because I know she will tease me mercilessly and never let me forget. I remember meeting Riley Scott and making a complete fool of myself. I threw up all over myself when she brought us home and I begged her to marry me. I want to die. Maybe my embarrassment will kill me in my sleep. I reach over my side table to check my phone and I grab a piece of paper. The words on the paper make my heart flutter.
'Good morning cutie, you gave me a lot of trouble last night.
You should take responsibility for taking my first kiss x

Riley S.'
"I have Riley Scott's number?" I whispered to myself. I couldn't believe it, my heart was pounding against my ribcage as if it wanted to escape. My hands shook as I held the note, my brain could not process this new information. I jumped on my bed like a crazy person, excitedly screaming. Sophie joined me in my room looking confused. I shoved the piece of paper at her and kept jumping around. I was on cloud nine, I was going to see her again. My excitement let me momentarily forget the fact that I completely embarrassed myself in from of my crush. All that matters is that I am going to see her again.
After calming down Sophie and I sat in my kitchen to talk about it. "So are you going to give her a call?"
"Of course I am. What kind of stupid question is that? She is my wife, I have to talk to her but first, I need to apologize for the craziness last night."
"That was one hell of a first impression. I guarantee she will never forget you." She laughed "I can't believe you puked all over yourself in front of her."
"Don't remind me." I groaned and banged my head against the table.
The day passed by with me just laying about. I am glad it was a weekend because, with the way I partied yesterday, I will be out of commission for a while. Sophie went home a few hours back, it was now 5 pm. I was on my couch thinking about how I should approach Riley again. I wanted to make a good impression. I was too chicken to call so I simply decided to send a text message.
Ruby: Hey, I am sorry for causing trouble for you last night. I hope you'll give me a chance to apologize.
Riley: Oh! The drunk cutie, you are such a handful.
Ruby: I am so sorry. Let me make it up to you, can we go out for some coffee tomorrow?
Riley: I don't know...Are you sure I won't have to carry you home again? :|
Ruby: Kill me now > <
Riley: Sure, we can meet tomorrow. I will give you a call in the morning. x
I have a date with Riley Scott. My heart did that pounding thing again and this time the smile on my face was so wide, I probably looked like the joker but I didn't care. I have a date with Riley Scott.
---Riley POV---
I have a date, finally my first date in ages. Wait... I don't even know her name.
