(Noah's Pov)
"Huff,"
"Haah,"
I was breathing heavily. I had been training for the past four hours and now I was completely exhausted. My shirt and trousers felt heavy because of all the sweat.
"What's the time right now?" I said to myself while wiping my forehead with a towel. Tilting my head sideways I opened my smartwatch and saw the time. It was already 7:30 in the morning.
"Damn, time went by really fast today," I muttered in a surprised tone. It didn't feel as if I was training for 4 hours.
'Let's take a quick shower and get to class,' I thought while picking up my training bag. The first class I had today was going to start at 8:15 a.m.
Walking out of the training facility, I thought of saying hello to Jason but to my surprise, he wasn't present at the front desk.
'I wonder where he is?' I thought while looking around. Most of the time one would find him at the front desk but today he wasn't there.
'Oh damn, it's already 7:40,' I thought while looking at the clock kept on the front desk of the training facility.
'I should hurry,' I said while running towards the dorm. I had no time to waste.
After running for a few minutes, I finally reached the front of a gigantic blue building. There were two more gigantic buildings beside it, green and red in colour respectively.
They were big enough to house more than a few thousand students and my room was located on the top floor of the blue building.
Taking the lift located in front of the blue building which said [First Years Dorm], I reached the top floor. A beautiful red carpet with a huge lounge welcomed me as soon as I reached the top floor. The top floor was designated for the top ten only.
I quickly entered my room labelled as [1]. I really loved this room. This room was located on the end of the floor away from others which I quite liked.
With a master bedroom, a huge bathroom, and a beautiful view, it had everything one could ask for. I entered the bathroom and took a quick shower.
'If I don't reach on time my plan will go haywire,' I thought with a frustrated mind while dressing up. After that, I got all the items required for today's class.
Today was going to be a sparring class and I wanted to reach the classroom as soon as possible so that I could pick out some goons that could come in handy in the future.
I plan to kill every demon in this world, it doesn't matter if I have to kill twice the amount of people for it. Some sacrifices must be made to achieve greater success. I will do anything to achieve my goal.
And I required some goons who could help me in this battle. I wanted revenge but I wasn't stupid enough to fight a whole demon army and demon king on my own.
That would be straight-up stupid and illogical. I planned to build an army of my own. People that will follow my orders without even thinking twice. Puppets that will move on my commands.
And today was the day I was going to pick some students for this job. I had already started getting closer to influential students like Hannah and Alice.
It was one of the reasons I entered Avalon. If it weren't for the benefit of getting the first rank, I would have hidden my strength even more during the entrance exam.
After getting everything ready I walked out of the room and started heading towards the area where the classes were located.
"Noah,"
I heard a voice calling out for me while I was walking out of the dorm.
"What do these pests want now?" I muttered while ignoring the person who just called for me. I didn't have time to waste on these shoe lickers.
"Noah wait,"
"Can't you hear me?"
I heard the voice say while running towards me. This time I stopped and waited for the person to reach me because I knew this voice. It belonged to none other than Hannah Swift, the sole daughter of the world's richest man.
Someone who could buy the whole of Avalon without batting an eye. Such was the power of her dad and it was the reason why I let her get close to me in the first place.
'What does she want from me now?' I questioned myself while turning my head and looking towards Hannah.
"Why did you ignore me?" She asked me while trying to catch her breath. She was wearing Avalon's academy uniform but from the looks, I could tell that it was enchanted by a magician for protection.
She had tied her auburn hair into two braids which increased her beauty even more. Her clothes were a bit revealing because of her giant rack.
I kept staring at her until she called for me again.
"Noah, you there?" she said while waving her hands across my face.
"Uh, yeah sorry," I said while rubbing the back of my head. It felt as if I was enchanted by her beauty. She looked beautiful but to freeze me in one place that's something nobody has ever been able to do.
"Would you like to walk together to the class?" she asked me in an energetic tone while patting my back.
"Sure, why not," I said without much reaction with a straight face. I rubbed my back a bit while thinking, 'I wonder what she eats for breakfast.'
No sooner did we start walking, I noticed a large crowd gathered in front of the main Avalon gate.
'I wonder what's all this commotion about,' I thought while trying to get a better view of the commotion.
Soon from the crowd, Alice walked out with an ice-cold face as if something like this seemed normal to her.
She glanced towards me and gave a nod while walking towards the class. I just stayed in the corner waiting for the crowd to clear out. Beside me, Hannah was fuming with anger.
