(Ray's Pov)
"Things really don't get easy for me," I said while looking at the horde of wolf-like-looking monsters in front of me.
If I remember correctly, they were called linens in the novel. They all had blue eyes that looked beautiful if you observed them closely. Their eyes looked similar to the dazzling moon staring at you in the night sky.
There were 12 wolves in total and they were all dark blue. One could tell that they were very hungry by looking into their eyes.
"Seems like you guys want these revines as well," I said while looking back and forth between the revines and the linens. I was surprised that they hadn't attacked me till now.
Seems like they were being careful around me.
"Ugh these monsters, why are they not attacking me," I said while looking at the group of linens in front of me. To be honest this situation was quite assumed for me.
For the first time since I came to this world, someone was scared of me. For the first time, I was the predator and the linens in front of me were the prey.
I was going to enjoy every bit of this situation.
"So how should I deal with you guys?" I said again while looking at the linens. They growled at me in response as if they were trying to scare me away.
Seeing that they weren't going to attack me anytime soon I took the initiative. I dashed towards the linen at the front of the group.
Seeing how he had positioned himself, it was quite clear that he was the leader of the pack.
He was comparatively bigger than other linens and had sharp claws which were at least 15 cm long.
Seeing me coming towards them, the linens got in an attacking stance and pounced upon me one after another.
"Seems like you guys can't wait to get beaten up," I said while punching the first Lenin that came towards me. After that, I took a sharp turn evading the two incoming linens, and directly aimed towards the leader of the group.
As soon as I got in his range, he threw his fangs at me which I met with my fist. Even though his fangs were sharp, at the end of the day, linens are just G- rank monsters while I was F- rank.
This meant I was one main grade higher than them. The only difference between the normal wolves and the linens is that the linens have sharper and longer claws in comparison to normal wolves.
As soon as the linen's leader's claws met with my punch, he got blasted a few feet away. Seeing their leader getting beaten so badly the linens understood that they challenged the wrong person and started to make a run for their lives.
It was getting too late so I decided to finish this fight quickly and find a place to spend the night at.
"Eternal death," I said in a low voice and white fog started to come out of my mouth. The temperature in the surrounding area started to decrease drastically and within a few seconds, the temperature fell to 8 degrees Celsius from around 40 degrees Celsius. The attack I used right now allowed me to influence my surroundings and turn it into my domain.
The temperature was quite high before since I was in a dense evergreen forest but because of my attack, it got way cooler than before. The leaves started to wrinkle, mist started to appear in the sky and the sun was no longer visible. All my surroundings got hazy within a few seconds.
The trees were now covered in a thin layer of ice. The attack I used just now turned my surroundings into an icy plane. Because of this, my overall power increased drastically and my opponents' power decreased at the same time.
The only downside of this attack was that it required quite a lot of mana to use.
"Hmm, this is interesting," I said observing the mist in front of me. I was able to see clearly in the mist. If I am being honest, I was able to see even more clearly through the mist than I could normally see.
This was a piece of good news for me but bad news for my opponents since now I could see properly even in misty and hazy places while my opponents would have problems even knowing my location. This effect was the same as killing two birds with a single arrow.
I wanted to check some other things as well but first I needed to kill these linens. They were still alive because of their thick fur which allowed them to survive even in very harsh weather conditions.
But this didn't mean that they were unaffected by the temperature. They were shivering from the cold and from the looks of it they seemed to have lost their sense of direction as well.
"Now, shall we end this? Ice prison" I said while waving my hands toward the linens. As soon as I said ice prison, the ice started to move according to my will and formed on the bodies of the Linens.
Within a matter of seconds, they were all frozen to death. None of them were spared. They seemed like prisoners who have been punished by getting trapped in ice till the end of time.
The scene in front of me looked really beautiful to me. It was as if someone had drawn their soul out on a paper. For the first time in my life, I thought that killing is fun. Maybe I was losing my sense of justice so I diverted my focus from linens to the ice domain I had formed.
I wanted to check the range of my attack and from the looks of it, the range of my attack right now is around 25 cm.
"Seems like I am still too weak," I said and flicked my fingers. With a flick of my fingers, the mist started to disappear and soon the sun came back into the sky.

"Something interesting is happening. Let's see how long you can entertain me." A deep husky voice said while laughing.
