Chapter 1 - Injection of the First Mana

Planet Earth, even before the arrival of the system in the multiverse, in one of the parallel realities.

- Holy Deidar! I was finally able to refine the formula! - exclaimed the scientist

His many years of research and work have paid off, finally he will be able to wipe the nose of Magus from the MagDest community and prove that the deceptive are the dregs of society and just the workforce, can learn to accumulate and use mana from world sources and be on a par with the elite of society - Magus.

Magus - tamers of mana, realized their superiority over others - without mana, who are the absolute majority of society. Unlike other worlds, on this one people could feel mana and only one in a million could manipulate it. The scientist himself was a supporter of the general availability of mana, having experienced all the discrimination and humiliation of the lower castes on his own skin, and at the same time having knowledge of science, he tried to find a consensus. He dreamed of a utopian future, and thanks to his theory of World Flows, this could well work.

MagDest is an organization of the most influential magicians at the Institute of Magicians. The MagDest Inquisition is under their jurisdiction.

However, the plans and dreams were destined not to come true, because the Magician Death found out about the intention to destroy and destroy their monopoly on mana and such immense power. In their opinion, only the descendants of the strongest, noblest and oldest deserved to use mana and prolong their lives. If this power is available to society, it can shake the very structure of the organization. That's why Mag Death decided to quietly deal with the scientist, he's from the lower, right? No one will ask questions, and if they do, well, Mag Dast will have enough strength to shut up the objectionable.

But still, that wasn't the only problem. Mag Death believed that using the World Streams would lead to their premature depletion if they were used by such a huge number of creatures. Mag Dest itself is a world organization, the ruling elite of incompetent in science and conservative fools who cherish the divinity of mana, the gift of God and their election to the role of rulers.

The scientist understood this. And based on this, he himself first of all tried to use the First Mana, and then the World, and began to practice meridian expansion in order to prepare the body for the flowing stream. The expansion of the meridian was carried out not only by breathing techniques, but also by gradually increasing the load on the body, as well as in some cases, you can eat hallucinogenic mushrooms, but you need to be completely gone to use a hallucinogenic mushroom and at the same time, saturated with mana, that is, enhanced in fact.

However, the scientist, after all, knew better than others about the scientific outcome of mana, and the First Mana - as he called the mana formed inside the bodies from the life forces of beings - is the second extreme, but the first were the Flows. The deceptive could not concentrate mana inside the bodies, most likely it is connected at the genetic level, but knowing about the properties of mana from the World Streams, which flows everywhere and easily takes any form, he came up with the idea of blocking a certain gene responsible for manipulating the First Mana and World Streams separately from each other.

That is, these are two different genes and obviously the manipulation gene of the First Mana was blocked or it was not at all for the majority of the population. A scientist could, of course, try to unlock this gene in many, but there were several factors holding it back:

1) No one knows how unlocking will affect the body of non-magicians.

2) the desire to study the World Flows and try manipulation on your own skin, in fact, the second level of mana.

3) The World Mana was wilder and more specific than the first, so he was in no hurry to curb it.

Then, on the basis of theory and magic catalysts, he was able to recreate an artificial embedded gene trigger for manipulating the First Mana, naturally after that he connected it to an implantation inhibitor. The scientist understood that the chances of surviving after completing meridian training for the First Mana was about 75%.

In his laboratory, hidden in one of the old abandoned castles of the last era, after going through all the stages of preparation for unlocking the gene of the First Mana and having previously closed for many days, he injected it into his neck. Moments later, he fell into a week-long coma.

How lucky he was when he took this assistant with him. His name is Quart-he is exactly the same victim of magicians as Ivor. Together with an uncomplicated young man, they decided on this feat after careful and dreary preparation of runic stones and alchemical ingredients, naturally all this is corrected by many volumes of the theory of a new science - genetic engineering, alchemy, runes, and then develop the idea of the First Mana, identify it, and then think about where this First Mana came from.

When he woke up, he felt a severe headache and exhaustion of his physical body. His body was on the verge, however, he did not die, which marked his successful experiment, only half. His mind told him to calm down for a while and recover. However, the scientist wanted to test the First Mana. First, he tried to manipulate her by reading spells, and then he silently formed a small water ball.

Qart caught himself of his teacher.

- Holy Deidar! Yes! It worked! A middle-aged man exclaimed, sweating profusely and trying to stand up. - Damn it! How hungry I am. - because of the thoughts of hunger and success, he lost concentration and the previously perfect water ball flopped on the floor.

"Master, you should rest.

Now he was experiencing many emotions: from admiration for the work done, to the desire to continue his work with the World Stream, however, doubts and droplets of fear crept in against the background that the MagDest Inquisition might come for him. Drawing attention to the magic calendar, he was horrified.

- A week!? - the scientist had previously cut off all ties, and notified his relatives that he would be away for some time. He didn't think that gene's awakening would take a whole week.

- Considering the complexity of awakening the First Mana gene...it will not become widely available, the chances are too low even with absolute preparation, which will cost a lot of time and effort. - the scientist knew that the awakening of the gene is not the hardest, it will be much more difficult to recreate an artificial gene responsible for World Flows. The scientist had to learn how to use the First Mana in order to continue working with the Second Mana - (World Mana).

- There is no time to fumble, I feel that something grandiose is on the verge of discovery. - after a light snack, drinking water, and taking a little breath after such extensive stress, he continued working with the data he had already received and the power to impose runes.

Superimposing runes was necessary to condense any mana into objects. The formula for the first serum was much more physical than the second serum of the World Mana Formula would be. The first serum used ingredients filled with the First Mana and was more similar to the concept of a potion than a serum, but it worked.
