Eric POV:

After a couple of moments, I had gathered enough intelligence to plan my next steps. First, as I thought, everyone who didn't know better was grinding the lower leveled monsters in an effort to get the lead. Having a shade posted near the station where points were kept track for students who didn't have a STONE, told me a lot. These lower leveled monsters were basically a distraction, barely worth the effort of accumulating points even if you farmed them all day.

Speaking of which, I noticed another thing, which I was sure wasn't a design flaw in the game. I was sure that three hours had passed, but the sun had remained in the same exact position since the game started. If what they said was true, it was morning when we started, meaning that the days were going to be twice as long as normal. I could only imagine how long the nights were.
