As I studied the coding that was on the spell before the darkness in my eyes for a couple of hours, I tried to copy what I was seeing on the tablet.
There was so much that I didn't understand yet, but I needed to keep trying because failure was not an option.
I basically had my depressing attempt at making a spell for the first time memorized, as I tried to compare it to the shadow lance.
Noticing that both were entirely structured differently, I made the understanding, that maybe it wasn't working because I was trying to make it into a spell, when this was a skill that I was supposed to make.
From what I've seen with skills as compared to spells, skills were a constant flow of mama rather than a seemingly one-time activation.
For example, the cost would be written as, M= 25(C) then the next input would what the mana was for.
Then the action was needed that basically described what the skill did.
