The sound of the shovel hitting the ground and then the chunks of soil getting out resounded near the flowing river.
Even a makeshift pickaxe was in use in order to break a certain big rock that was in the way of the new layout for the canal that would reach the shelter.
"How much area have you already planned, John?" Mike asked, his hands didn't stop working and hadn't stopped the whole 2 hours of time.
"About 10 minutes toward the shelter, why?"
"Nothing, I was just wondering how much time we are going to give this thing," Mike said, his annoyance seeping out from his voice even when he was doing his best to support the project.
"Mike, if you think you need more time to train, then just go back. You have already helped enough for the day." Lucas said while taking out a big chunk of land in one scoop.
