The next morning I went with Adrien to her house. Thankfully that kid has a memory like an elephant, he saw what car they left in, license plate and all. It wasn't hard to find them with that information.
Adrien shook his head at me as he looked at my clothing. "That's what you're wearing to meet her?"
I'm gonna smack this boy. "First of all, what's wrong with what I'm wearing? I always wear jeans and leather. Second of all, who gives a shit?"
He shook his head again. "You've been out of the game for a long time, old man."
"If it's the game of killing teenage brats who think they know everything then I'm about to re-enter that one real quick." I growled under my breath.
He just laughed at me. "What the hell. It's your style anyway. Take it or leave it I guess."
