Nia blinked rapidly and then smiled brightly, "You wanna move in together! That's super cool. I've never had a roommate, well one close to my age anyway."
I rolled my eyes at her and ran my fingers over my eyes, exasperated already. "Yea…I need to move out of Elias' place. He's been real nice about letting me live here rent free but I'd like something with my name on it ya know?"
She nodded, fully understanding my plight though I saw a little glint in her eye at the mention of his name.
"How is he, El-Elias I mean, is he ok?" She stammered out.
"He's doing about as well as you and I are. Why? Any particular interest in the guy beyond your massive crush?" I grinned as I teased her.
She groaned and hid her face in a pillow for a minute. "Is it that obvious?" She mumbled.
"It is. Everyone can see it but its fun to watch at least." I chuckled.
"Ughh, can we not talk about that right now?" She begged with scarlet colored cheeks and a small smile.
