"This is a very serious matter! The person has too much power and this power is being corrupted! This is endangering not just the five kingdoms but the whole of Nymeria! We have been checking core levels of warriors, knights, and commoners who wish to use their power so how in the name of god did we miss such huge power levels?!" A stout man shouts.
"Governor, might I remind you, you are in the presence of the royal family you do not raise your voice in front of his majesty, the king, and the members of the royal family! or I might have to show you your place" the royal secretary glares.
The governor kneels in fear of the king, "my deepest apologies to his majesty, the king of Aethra, and the royal family for my disrespect. I got carried away an-" the governor was cut off by the booming voice of the king.
"That's enough! Aramis, I want you to write letters to all the four kingdoms initiating a meeting of all royal families of the five kingdoms immediately" the king addresses the royal secretary of Aethra.
"Very well, your majesty" Aramis bows and walks out of the room with the governor. "Have we found that big of a threat, your majesty?" The queen consort asks, gently putting her hands on top of his.
"My dear Charis, it seems we have," the king says holding his queen's hands tightly.
Meanwhile, Aramis prepares for the letters to the five kingdoms. "I want letters sent now! The urgent orders of the king are to be addressed immediately. Ask for a meeting as soon as possible! Make it completely clear that this is an urgent and direct order from the king of Aethra!" He ordered.
"Yes, royal secretary!" The workers chorused and got to work.
"This is an urgent matter, use your power to deliver the letters, do it as fast as possible and ask for a reply as soon as possible" Aramis declared.
"The letter for the kingdom of ignis is ready to be sent!"
"The letter for the kingdom of Zale is ready to be sent!"
"The letter for the kingdom of Gaia is ready to be sent!"
"The letter for the kingdom of Erebus is ready to be sent!"
Aramis smiles "well done, deliver them now and deliver them fast. Inform me immediately when any one of the kingdoms has replied."
"yes, royal secretary" they heed.
Meanwhile, the kingdom of Ignis receives the letter.
"THIS IS A DIRECT LETTER FROM A KING! We have to inform the royal secretary immediately!" The worker shouts. "Lower your voice, I'm right here" the deep voice of the royal secretary of the kingdom of Ignis replies.
"Royal secretary! Here is the letter from the kingdom of Aethra, it's written for the eyes of his majesty, the king" The worker extends the letter to the royal secretary.
"You are probably exaggerating, why would the kingdom of Aethra send a letter to only his majesty?" The royal secretary said.
"We've just been informed! It's not just his majesty, the king who has received the letter, all kingdoms have, including the kingdom of Erebus" a man informs.
The royal secretary immediately takes the letter and rushes to the king of Ignis
"What is the matter? Did I not tell you to not disturb me?"
"Your majesty, please forgive me for coming so urgently but we've got a letter directly from the king of Aethra," the royal secretary says as he bows.
"From the king of Aethra? Very well, give it to me" the king demands. "Yes, your majesty" the royal secretary replies and hands the letter to the king.
His majesty, the king opens the letter as his eyes scan the contents of the letter. "A formal meeting between all five kingdoms as soon as possible? The king of Aethra is calm and does not make a big deal out of small situations, if he is calling something is wrong " the king of Ignis sighs as he puts down the letter.
"Zander, send a reply that we will be there by the end of today and start preparing to go the kingdom of Aethra immediately and inform the others that we are leaving" his majesty the king orders.
Zander bows and immediately rushes out. "Everyone! Listen up, prepare for the king to leave for the kingdom of Aethra immediately by the end of today. The royal family will be leaving together. Get to work and send a letter to the kingdom of Aethra of our arrival"
"Yes, royal secretary!" They chorused.
Zander immediately rushes to the queen's palace.
"Zander? Why are you here? Has his majesty asked for me?" The queen consort asks.
"Your royal highness, his majesty the king has asked me to inform you that we are to leave for the kingdom of Aethra by the end of today" Zander replies bowing.
"We are? Very well then I'll have to prepare. If that's all you may leave" the queen consort says smiling.
"Yes, that is all your majesty. I shall inform his highness the prince" Zander bows and turns around to leave when he sees the prince. "That's alright, I already heard. When are we leaving?" the prince of Ignis replies.
"Ah, your royal highness, we will leave by the end of today" Zander replies bowing. "Very well, you may leave, I wish to be alone with her majesty" the prince replies walking over to his mother.
"Yes, your majesty's" Zander bows one last time and leaves.
Zander rushes to where the workers are, and when he reaches a worker calls "Royal secretary Zander!". Zander looks at the worker questioningly.
"We are almost done. We will prepare to leave in 2 hours" the worker reports. "Heavens, it's almost night. Everyone listen up! Get everything prepared in an hour! These are his majesty the King's direct orders!" He orders
"yes, royal secretary Zander!" Everyone choruses
"has the letter been sent?" Zander asks the worker in charge. "Yes, we just sent it." The worker replies. "Good, and what about the other kingdoms? Have they replied?" Zander asks
"yes, they have. All of the kingdoms sent a reply around the same time as us, except for the kingdom of Erebus. They have not replied yet"
their king is not present. I wonder how the kingdom of Erebus will handle it, zander thought.
Meanwhile in the kingdom of Aethra.
"Royal secretary! We've received a reply from a kingdom!" The worker in charge says. "Which kingdom?" Aramis asks. "It's the kingdom of Erebus! They sent a letter before all others, it seems the letters from the other kingdoms are just on their way" the worker in charge answers.
"Very well then, I shall deliver it to his majesty the king." The worker immediately hands the letter to the royal secretary.
Once he reaches in front of the king he says, "your majesty the king, we have received a letter from the kingdom of Erebus, and we have just been informed that the rest of the kingdom's replies are on their way" Aramis explains.
"give it to me" the king demands. the royal secretary hands the letter to his majesty and he scans the contents of the letter. "Don't expect the kingdom of Erebus to arrive until tomorrow" his majesty orders after reading the letter and Aramis nods.
A worker enters, "we have just received the other replies from the other three kingdoms" the worker announces kneeling.
"Aramis, read the other letters and I assume you have already started preparing for our royal guests? If there's a kingdom that is not coming then inform me immediately" the king orders.
"Yes, your majesty!" The royal secretary exclaimed as he bowed to the king and queen. Aramis leaves and immediately starts reading the responses of the kingdoms.
Once he's done he asks the worker "are we prepared for the guests?"
"Yes, royal secretary, we have prepared the best rooms and we are ready to provide the best resources to the royal families" the worker reports.
"Good. Because nothing can go wrong while they are here. We must show them the elegance and hospitality of the kingdom of Aethra"
"yes!" The worker in charge cheers.
"But sir, why did the king suddenly send invites for all four kingdoms?" The worker asks quizzically. "That is between the royal families, none of your concern" the royal secretary scolds.
"O-of course sir, my deepest apologies" the worker apologizes sheepishly.
"Royal secretary, we just got information that the royal families of the kingdom of Zale and the kingdom of Ignis have left just a few minutes ago, they will likely arrive within thirty minutes" the worker reports.
"Ok! Gather everyone and prepare to welcome the two kingdoms" Aramis orders the worker in charge. The worker in charge nods and rushes to inform everyone.
"what about the kingdom of Gaia?" Aramis asks the other worker. "The last I checked they have not left the kingdom of Gaia" the worker reports.
Aramis nods and orders, "any information on the kingdom of Gaia, report it immediately"
"Yes, royal secretary!" The worker heeds.
