Luke opened his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to shake off the feeling of sadness and anger. He knew that he couldn't change the past, but he could make sure that the present and future were different.
He couldn't help but wonder what happened to the previous Luke and why he had to suffer so much. He didn't have answers for this, but he knew that he was going to make the most of this new opportunity and make sure that he lived a fulfilling life.
He didn't want to be a victim of bullying anymore and he was determined to make the most of this new chance he had been given.
As the memory faded, a feeling of determination filled Luke. He clenched his fists as he thought about the people who had bullied the previous Luke. He couldn't believe that they had treated him so poorly and he felt a burning desire for revenge.
"Don't worry Luke, I won't let them go, those bastards," he promised aloud. "I will take the revenge for you." He knew it was unlikely that he could do anything about the past, but the thought of standing up for the previous Luke and making them pay for their actions brought him a sense of satisfaction.
He knew it was unlikely that he could find these people and make them pay for their actions, but the thought of standing up for the previous Luke and making them pay for their actions brought him a sense of satisfaction.
He didn't know how he would do it, but he knew that he had to try. He was determined to make the most of this new opportunity and make sure that he lived a fulfilling life, not only for himself but also for the previous Luke, who had suffered so much.
After waking up, Luke saw a nurse beside him who was arranging some medicines. There were a lot of them, not only pills but also syrups.
'Ah… not those syrups please!' he thought.
This reminded him of his childhood, when he had to drink bitter syrup whenever he caught a cold. He couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia as he remembered the taste of the medicine and the way it made his face scrunch up in disgust.
The nurse noticed Luke looking at the medicine and smiled at him, "These are for you, Luke. You'll have to take them all as prescribed."
Luke nodded, understanding the need for the medicine but not looking forward to the taste. He knew it was for his own good, but the memories of his childhood made him dread taking the medicine. He couldn't help but think about how his life had changed, from being a child who had to take bitter syrup to a grown-up who had to take even more medicine
"Is it necessary to have those syrups?" Luke asked the nurse, not wanting to have to drink the bitter medicine.
"Yeah, these are necessary to boost your health," the nurse chuckled, understanding his reluctance.
"But don't worry, it's alright, you can have them with fruit juice. That way, it won't taste bitter," she smiled, trying to make him feel better.
Luke felt relieved, he was not looking forward to the taste of the syrup, but the nurse's suggestion made him feel better.
'I know that i had to take the medicine to get better…'
'But the idea of having it with juice made it more bearable I guess…'
"Lets give it a try then!", He smiled at the nurse, grateful for her understanding and for finding a way to make the medicine more palatable. He felt more at ease knowing that he could have the medicine without having to deal with the bitter taste.
"You are a lifesaver," Luke said with a bright expression, smiling at the nurse. The nurse's face turned cherry red as she smiled back at him.
"I really appreciate your suggestion and your understanding. It made me feel better about taking the medicine," he added.
The nurse chuckled, "I'm glad I could help. It's my job to make sure you're comfortable and that you get the best treatment. I'll make sure to bring you some juice to take with your medicine."
"Sir, will you please go outside for a few minutes? The patient has to take a bath," the nurse asks Alex politely.
"Oh, sure," Alex replied, standing up from the stool and walking outside the room.
Luke was trying to get up when the nurse told him to, but his body was not responding. He felt weak and his legs were shaking. The nurse noticed this and helped him get up from the bed.
As he stood, he felt a weird sensation running through his body and a mild pain.
'It's probably from from being bedridden for a three ducking* days!'
'This has to happen anyway'
He gritted his teeth, determined to get better and to walk on his own, trying to rationalize the weakness he felt. The nurse helped him take a few steps, supporting him as he walked.
The nurse instructed Luke to move his hands and legs for a few minutes to improve blood circulation and also taught him some exercises to relieve body pain.
At first, it was painful and difficult for Luke to move his limbs, but he knew it was necessary for his recovery. With the nurse's guidance and encouragement, he persisted through the discomfort and eventually, the movements became smoother and the pain lessened.
After 15 minutes of exercising, Luke's body felt more relaxed. The nurse checked on him and seeing that he was doing well, she left the room, reminding him to take a bath and his medicines on time. Luke was glad that the exercises were helping him feel better and he was looking forward to taking a bath and feeling refreshed.
"Now I want to see what the outside world is like!" he thought to himself.
Luke had been curious to look outside the window since he woke up. He wanted to know what kind of world he was living in, whether it was the same as before or if he had been transported to a different planet.
