🦋Anna's POV 🦋
Through the blinds I could see the sun shining brighter than anything.. and if I could trade positions with it, I'd definitely do that.
I had spent 3 hours hospitalizing myself but the bruises all over my body were still visible.
The pain I had felt the previous night were long gone except the few ones I couldn't attend to .
They were gonna leave scars and I knew it! Like all the other ones manning my skin and new ones to come.
My phone buzzed on the table and I reached for it "mom " I thought
She was calling.
Ever since i left home she's been repeatedly checking up on me and it makes me a bit emotional because I couldn't do anything for her,
I was useless.
" hey mom " I said as I picked the call and pressed the phone to my ear.
" hey baby have you been good ?" She asked her voice coming out in a small whisper.
The agitation in her voice indicated that she was hiding around to call me.
Dad had stopped her from contacting me,
He literally cut me off from the family or rather I cut them off cause he was preventing me from being with Steven And now I just feel so stupid .
I am !
" am all good " I manage to lie
" Steven has been so good to me mom we are even expecting__ "
" hey baby am sorry but I have to go now " she replied hurriedly interrupting me
" ok bye" I said but she already hung up
Hmphhh ! I sigh
The whole lying to my mom thing was really taking a toll on me, I couldn't possibly keep up with this charade.
I haven't even had a chance to tell her about my baby !

I woke up to the dangling of keys and then the door opened and then closed again.
How long have I been asleep?
Was he back ?
All my questions were answered when the door to my room was forcefully opened and there he was. I even forgot he has a spare key.. whatever!
But then he looked kind of pissed.
Probably got annoyed at work?
I didn't care !
As far as he doesn't get me involved or take his anger out on me, then I was completely fine!
I hadn't even cleared my thought when he pounced on me repeatedly.
I got away from his hold but it wasn't for long..
As His hands were back on my body like he normally does . He was moving mad..He wasn't going to stop! So I started to beg.. it was the only way out but no..
He kept on with the brutality kicking my stomach once twice... I tried to protect my baby from him as I sprinted to the door trying to escape but he grabbed me by the hair making me wince out in pain
And that's when I saw it..
Blood!!
It was dripping down my leg.
'No no this can't possibly be happening I can't afford to lose my baby.'
I pushed him away as I struggled away from his grip
I opened the main door as I bolted away...
Away from him I looked back and he was hot on my tail.
" get back here you c*nt " he shouted
No! I wasn't going to do that
I looked at my legs and I was loosing more blood I was loosing my baby.
I ran as fast as I could and into the woods I knew I was lost but there was no going back .
I looked back and I couldn't find him no more, I slump to the ground my back resting on a tree as I was growing tired and tired at the moment .
My eyes were becoming blurry and I couldn't see clearly
I was going to die along with my baby .
I hear bones snapping and I see a big black dog in front of me or better still a wolve?
'Nah... those didn't exist' I laugh in my head
It's all a myth !
I was about to die and suddenly I was seeing things.
I look towards it's direction and I see it snarl bearing its teeth.
Closer and closer it came towards me..
I was getting drowsy and the only thing I could do was close my eyes, embrace the darkness as I drown, straight into the deep abyss.
