I was walking through the forest looking for something to help me find my way home or to the market, but I couldn't stop thinking about what happened to Jax, I was worried about what they might do to him, so I watched two guards that were staying behind at the cave that Jax and I were in. I sat down with my back against a tree and watched the two guards waiting for them to walk back to the market or wherever they were keeping Jax. It's been at least an hour since I started to watch them yet they were still at the cave, But I think my eyes were tricking me, I knew my eyes were when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turned around to see one of the guards looking down at me, "who are you? what are you doing here?" the guard said looking at me "I got lost I was hoping one of you would go to the market or something that would help me get there..." I said looking up at the guard, the guard looked at me and smiled "you do know you could've just asked for directions or asked one of us to take you there" said the guard while chuckling, he held out a hand to help me up. I took his hand hesitantly and he helped me up. As we started to walk to the market, I looked up at him and smiled "so what is your name?" I asked a guard trying to make conversation "I'm Elijah but people call me Eli," the guard said "well, It's nice to meet you, Eli, I'm Honey," I said with a smile on my face "so...what brings you to the market?" Eli asked "oh I'm looking for someone," I said while looking up at Eli with a sad expression "well, maybe I can help?" Eli said in a worried tone "no it's fine you don't have to worry about it" I said "come on let me help you I can get some guards to help look for your friend" Eli said in a concerned tone "no, no more guards, I'll let you help but on one condition" I said in a serious tone "what's the condition?" Eli asked "don't say anything to anyone about this," I said, "why can't I tell anyone?" Eli asked in a curious tone "because if we tell anyone about them I could end up in the king's dungeon," I said in a worried tone "who are you looking for anyways, they seem dangerous," Eli said "his name is Jax and he stole some stuff," I told Eli trying to keep out as much detail as possible. "That's not all is it?" Eli asked "no it's not he is in debt by 1,000 gold," I said looking at the shocked expression on Eli's face "he's in debt by 1,000 gold, that's not as bad as I thought it would be," Eli said, "so will you help me?" I asked looking at Eli "fine do you know where he is?" Eli asked "yea but you not gonna like where he is," I said while looking at Eli "then where is he?" Eli asked with curiosity "the king's dungeon…" I said in a nervous voice "it's fine, I'm still going to help" Eli stated "are you sure you wanna help me with this," I said with a confused look "why wouldn't I help you?" Eli asked "W...well, I just thought that yo-" I was cut off by Eli "we're here," Eli said while grabbing my hand and pulling me into the market "Eli where are you taking me?" I said with a confused expression on my face "you'll see" Eli said with an excited expression on his face, so you just went along with Eli.
After a few minutes of walking, we finally stopped, "Here we are" Eli said with a smile on his face "where are we?" I asked Eli while looking around to see a lot of market stands and shady people. There were weapons like daggers, maps, ancient artifacts, crystals, and what looks like a type of egg. I look back at Eli "again where are we?" I asked again "the black market," Eli said while rubbing the back of his neck "What now!" I yelled quietly "I brought us here because I noticed you didn't have a weapon," Eli said with a nervous tone "Look I'm sorry I just didn't expect you to bring me to the black market," I said with a confused expression "well let's go buy some weapons!" I said with excitement while looking at Eli who has a smile on his face.
