Buzz!
Hearing Sol talk about his people like that in the presence of the two guards sent shivers down her spine. She suddenly remembered that Sol has been unconscious most of his life. Unlike other tribe heads, he had no attachments to any of these people. Thinking about it now she remembered he even rejected the request of the ƙhai'k who has guarded this realm for centuries.
Demon!
That's all she could see right now. This little boy was far more terrifying than the powerful figures he had come across.
"Your time is running out, you should always keep that in mind. My people like superpowers and even if I get what I want and ask them to stop, it would take a few minutes before they reach it. The more time wasted on talks, the higher the chances that they won't make it in time" Sol said with a cruel smile and the pale look on Ayla's face intensified.
Not only did she disobey the others from above by trying to take Sol's body but she even put her friends in danger!
"What do you want to know?" Ayla asked with a stern look on her face and the smile on Sol's face slowly vanished as his gaze turned stern again.
...…
It took close to twenty minutes for Sol to get out all the information he needed from her and it left him devastated.
Not good!
Sol frowned deeply after figuring out the plan for fox spirits. His eyes shifted to Ayla who was still chained.
"What do you do with her?" a guard asked.
"We should wait for the ƙhai'k to come, he may…."
Before the second guard could speak Sol already approached Ayla and grabbed her by the face.
"Wait… you promised you will let us live!" Ayla panicked but Sol had no sympathy in his eyes as his hand covering her face exploded in fierce flames.
Hak!
Sol's cruel voice boomed and the guards looked away in horror. Painful screams rang within the castle for a while but they finally died down.
The death of a Kitsune was one of many that can go unnoticed.
Awooooooo!
Awooooooo!
Awooooooo!
Painful howls could be heard all over his territory during the night.
....
Ding!
[Fox spirit dead….]

Sol's eyes fell on his stats and he frowned deeply. His eyes seemed emotionless as he sat alone in his room and just like his room, the castle was completely empty. Based on the information obtained from the dead fox spirit he encountered the other day, Sol realized only weak fox spirits were deployed to his territory because the people of the sixth tribe had lost their powers so they weren't considered threats.
She was the only two-tailed fox spirit deployed to this part of Hallow mountain and that's why no one could stop her from attempting to take Sol's body.
As soon as he got that information out of her, he knew he had to take her life. While fox spirits may hate everyone else, they love themselves and are vengeful beings. By killing Ayla he knew he would attract the rest of the fox spirits into his territory and that's why he sent all his guards away. He had to be here when it happens and all alone.
Huff!
'I hope they remain skeptical enough to hold out their attacks for a day or so' Sol said as he realized he was still in a weakened state. It was late night since he fought Ayla, and until midnight his body will remain this way.
His eyes shifted to his skill section and he kept gazing at the Hellfire power and the boosts. He considered this his trump card but getting rendered useless for a week and permanently losing one stat point is not something he fancied.
Especially since it's difficult to get experience points.
"Leave no enemies alive and no foe unconquered" Sol remembered a quote his dad in his past life used to tell him. Those same words are the reason he conquered the last world and reached his peak.
He didn't plan on achieving anything less.
"The messengers have entered the territories of the five tribes! They will soon make contact with them!" a voice resounded outside the room but since the door was shut tight, Sol couldn't see who but he knew it was one of his subordinates.
Good!
Sol let out a sigh of relief. His greatest fear has always been the fox spirits cutting them off from the rest of the world. As long as his messengers got through, they can warn the other tribes and families while also requesting assistance. The only expert in the entire sixth tribe now was Sol and even he lacked the strength to deal with this issue alone.
Unlike his tribe, even with the leaders locked down, the other tribes and families had experts of various levels. Ones far stronger than Sol.
"Leave now, don't return to the castle until I request your audience!" Sol's voice was stern but the messenger knew the meaning behind his words. They may have lost their powers but they were once experts too. They knew what the fox spirits were like and the implications of Sol's actions. Staying here on the other hand will only burden him.
In the end, this is a trial their young heir must face alone.
"I pray for your victory, Chief!" the messenger bowed as he spoke those words from his heart before running away.
Sol sat at the other side of the door in a cross-legged position and with his eyes shut tight. Letting his emotions run wild because of a few kind words from his subordinates is not what he needed now.
He needed to be vigilant until the enemy finally decided to appear!
