Chapter 1 - The Myth of Creation, part I: The Twins and The Elder Ones

Within the nothingness, the Goddess existed before time and space came into thought, she existed together with her word and her spirit. With her word bearing utterance and with her spirit bearing witness she created the divine halberd and the divine seed. With the halberd in hand, she pierced into the nothingness giving form to darkness and light, heat and cold, Aether and Nether, life and death, chaos and order, space and time. From her point of the halberd poured forth the ever-expanding energy. Within an empty space the Goddess sealed away death and cast it far away from life.

Within the center of creation dwelt chaos and order, within the swirling duality she planted the divine seed causing it to germinate and grow into a mighty tree which her word gave it the name Yaheidrazirr. From the branches of the tree seeds, and fruits began to grow and flourish. Above existence the Goddess created a place from which her word poured forth, the fountain of life. Above the fountain, the Goddess created her palace and throne from which she could oversee all of creation.

Then from the heat and cold of creation the Goddess gave birth to the twin Daeities of opposition. First the Daeity of Fire emerged from the heat and the word of the Goddess bore her, her name. Second the Daeity of Water emerged from the cold and the word of the Goddess bore him his name. From his birth the Daeity of Water poured forth waters of praise and adoration to the Goddess and from her birth the Daeity of Fire brought forth flames of passion and emotion which burnt the Goddess. Taking this as an insult the Daeity of water took the divine halberd and slashed his sister. The Goddess separated the two, then punished the Daeity of water for striking at his sister, and with her word forbid the two from ever harming one another. The two settled their difference and bowed before her in acceptance.

The Two siblings then created beings from the heat and cold that bore them beings known simply as the Old Ones. The two siblings created countless Old Ones who danced in the energy of existence. Those created by the Daeity of Fire danced with passion and zeal that caused them to shine brightly from which all of existence would watch in awe, they danced in their solitude with a mysterious wonder, enrapturing all around them. Those created by the Daeity of water danced together in unison, the greater ones danced around in rhythm with elegance and grace together with the lesser who in turn danced about them in a likewise elegance and grace. Independently their dance was nothing to be seen but together as one and in unison their dances held a beauty beyond all comprehension. Together the beings created by both siblings danced in praise to the Goddess who created all existence and to their respective parents the Daeities of water and Fire.

After a time, the Goddess traveled to her throne to rest letting the two siblings guide creation. For countless eons the two watched over all creation. The Daeity of Fire watched over her creations in isolation watching each dance with a ceaseless fervor; the Daeity of water watched over his creations directly communing with them and dancing with them in a perpetual state of beauty.

The Daeity of Fire watched his brother dance with his creations, and what was at most a small envy turned into a simmering anger. The Daeity of Fires anger was kindled against her brother saying that as a Daeity he should not dance with his creations but simply watch over them and guide them. The Daeity of Water Refuted her argument saying that to guide and lead one must be willing to lower oneself to see things as they do; the Daeity of Fire in turn stated that if one were to lower oneself the true picture of the world is diminished and distorted, one should watch on high to see things as they were meant to.

The two argued and argued unable to reach an agreement; they then rescinded from each other separating themselves. In her solitude for a time the Daeity of Fire was at peace; overtime as she watched her brother her peace turned to anger which turned to rage as her thoughts churned in her mind. Her mind was overcome with the idea of her brothers' foolish actions, which in turn caused her thoughts to shift. She thought that if her brother will not lead correctly then she herself should be solely in charge of all creation.

With that single thought she began to approach her creations making them bow before her and swear absolute loyalty allegiance to her. Water witnessing this approached water trying to dissuade her from this course. Blinded by her rage and pride she refused to listen, it was then that she declared that if her brother was going to play with his creations, he should give up his rights to rule over creation to her. Refusing to give his sister complete control, The Daeity of Water refuted that the Goddess left them both to govern creation in that they should rule together. Angry the Daeity of Fire then declared that her goal would be to take control of all creation saying he was unfit to rule. Unable to dissuade his sister, The Daeity of Water separated himself and his creations from his sister and her creations, creating a rift between the two. In anger and rage the fire Daeities emotions run wild corrupting herself and in turn her influence infected her creations twisting them into grotesque and horrid abominations of madness and chaos. Losing herself to her anger the Daeity tore down the rift between the two, her creations then came flooding in corrupting Waters creation driving them to madness, chaos, and despair.

A war began to rage between the two Daeities and their factions with all the universes being the battle ground for this war. In the battle and war more and more of the water Daeities creations fell, each corrupted by fires creations and her desires, each twisted into horrid abominations. As the Daeity of Water lost more and more ground in the war, he called out to the Goddess for a respite of help. The Daeity of Water drove deep into the territory of Fire and into the heart of the fire and chaos to stop his sister. Water pleaded with his sister to stop her madness, fire had been so twisted and consumed by her own rage that she was beyond help. As the Daeity of Water pleading with his sister, she looked up at him and with madness and anger in her eyes and heart she broke the taboo of the Goddess, Fire attacked water, and once more the Daeity of Water called out to the Goddess for help.

Their battle ensued for countless eons the two unable to harm one another as per the Goddess law. Their fists did nothing to the other, their blades bounced deflected from one another, they were at a complete stalemate. With no foreseeable way to stop his sister, Water once more called out to the Goddess for Help. From her throne the Goddess appeared before the warring siblings. With the Divine Jeweled Halberd in hand the Goddess spoke to the Daeity of water telling him that the only way for him to harm his sister is for him to use the Divine Halberd to stop her; the Goddess warned him that by doing so he would be going against her Law, forbidding them from harming one another, and if he did so he would be severely punished. Seeing no other way Water accepted the Goddess words and his fate the Goddess then shed a single tear and gave to Water the Divine Jeweled Halberd. With the spear in hand The Daeity of water charged forward with the speed and power of an arrow, he flew at the Daeity of Fire, piercing her body. Withdrawing the halberd, he quickly slashed at her body cutting away her arms, her legs, her chest, her stomach, and her pelvis; and as suddenly as it had all begun the war between the two siblings was over.

With Daeity of Fire dead the Old Ones had fallen to her sway fell from order into disorder, forever losing their minds and their sanity. The Goddess and The Deaity of Water stood in the midst of the madness they both looked all about and saw that not even one of his or his sisters' creations were uncorrupted; looking all around at the madness, his heart sank. The Goddess called to water saying that now the Old Ones have lost their pure form and their pure minds, they have forever become abominations and they must now all be sealed to prevent a worse calamity.

The Goddess then appeared before the might tree Yaheidrazirr, determined to put an end to the madness. Speaking to sacred seeds, the children of the divine tree, she beseeched the children of the tree asking if one will give their form and seal the madness. None among them came forward to offer their body; none would give them, save for the smallest of the seeds, this stepped forth from among her siblings to answer The Goddess call. The Goddess smiled calling the seed blessed above all other for her selfless action and told her that for her sacrifice this is not the end for her but a new beginning. Taking the sacred seed in her hand, she burned it turning it to ash and dust. The Goddess then bore her a new name and form, the Sublime World Dust. Pouring the dust from her hands it flowed forth, throughout all of existence. The sacred seed given her new form flowed between the Old Ones binding them, singing them songs of peace, lulling them into a deep sleep, transforming them into new forms. The Old Ones took a sealed form and in this new form they would stay for eons and eons. The Sublime World Dust having put the old ones into a deep slumber she receded into the darks of existence to a world of dreams and thought, to continually rock the cradles of the Old Ones, to let them sleep.
