Subh had insisted on returning back to Westin and then to pick her up before lunch. It was her birthday after all. Although, he wanted to spend the entire day with her, but at the same time he respected her privacy.
It was around 12 in the noon that June got into the luxury Sedan that Subh had drove.
He came out of the driver's seat and held the door open for her.
"Hey nice car!" She remarked.
"Perks of a five star I guess." Subh shrugged and smiled.
June was wearing a white anarkali kurta that went down to her ankle. She wore matching white bangles and jhumkas, that she had brought three years back but never got a chance to wear. Her hair was open, neatly brushed and she wore a small stone bindi on the bridge of her eyebrows.
"June, what are you doing?" Subh spoke in a serious tone as she settled beside him pulling her seatbelt on.
"What?" She asked casually.
"You are giving me a hard on, in broad daylight!" He smirked.
"That's a crime June!"
June smiled brightly.
"Why? Didn't you touch yourself well last night?" She raised an eyebrow quizzically.
"My little bro prefers you over me it seems."
He winked.
The car sped at a comforting speed and reached Westin in less than fifteen minutes.
"You got me to your hotel?" She rolled her eyes at him.
"Yup, they have an elaborate luncheon... I think you'll like it... Plus a few other things planned." He smiled mysteriously at her helping her out of the door.
The dining hall was lavishly decorative as June and Subh sat at a private corner, eating and laughing their heart out.
"I don't remember when was the last time I had laughed so much." Subh coughed out some alcohol and he continued to laugh at her words.
"This is what happens when you day drink...! Just like the incident I told you." June rolled her eyes sipping at the water and Subh caught hold of her hand.
"Now, I'll not leave you!" He whispered.
"I mean... I... I... I won't leave you until you join me with the drink."
He waved at the manager and asked him to get the bar menu once again.
Her hand was still held on his, as their eyes met for a second, sending sparks of electric waves through their body.
"Something just happened in the stomach." Subh murmured.
"You... You wanna use the bathroom?" June raised her eyebrow.
"No... Silly...!" Subh laughed out again.
"I meant something just stirred in me when I looked into your eyes."
He leaned forward to brush his lips gently on her earlobe.
It was almost 4pm when the duo finally finished their lunch. It was more of words and laughter than food and drinks. But, June did day drink and she outdid him with flying colours.
And, by the time they walked out of the dining hall, June was hardly able to walk.
"Now, whaat? We have seeexx?" June's words were slurry as Subh held her waist tightly to help her walk.
"Um... I had something else in mind." He paused.
"How about a movie screening on a open air rooftop?" He suggested.
June's eyes widened in surprise.
"No... You did not!! It's always been a wish Subh... I alwaaayyssss wanted to do it!"
"So, let's go then." He held her as they walked towards the elevator.
"They are screening ZNMD." He remarked enthusiastically.
"ZN what?"
Now it was time for Subh to roll his eyes.
"Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara! Don't tell me you haven't seen it yet?"
June smiled.
"I have... "
