June knew the last answer well. It was three years back when she had met Rohit for the first time. It was her first and Rohit wasn't an expert lover.
It was more of a curiosity than lovemaking.
June let out another sigh and closed her eyes.
"My life officially sucks!"
Peep peep peep...
The smartphone alarm broke the subtle silence of the room.
June opened her eyes and checked the time.
7:45pm
Online Wellness session starts in another 15 minutes, and hence the alarm.
She felt her life was guided by a set of alarms and schedules.
Banging the phone on the bed, she got up.
"Fuck wellness." She murmured.
She staggered towards the stand mirror and looked at herself.
Sleep deprived puffy eyes!
She had won miss fresher contest in her college. Boys used to die for her... Then what happened suddenly?
Where did all that charm go!
She sighed, pulling out a simple black dress from the wardrobe.
She slipped the knee length noodle strap dress and tied her hair in a messy pony.
Picking up the purse and car keys, she headed out from her flat, unwary of her destination.
The car was parked in the garage. But instead of going to the garage, June started walking...
She walked out of her society building and treaded into the main road.
The dazzling lights and the whooshing cars glazed her eyes for a moment.
She got up on the pavement and started to walk... Walk aimlessly!
Thoughts from the pasts clouded her eyes.
It was a good twenty minutes after which June's tender legs gave up.
She looked around the place.
It was the other side of the city that she had hardly ventured. June needed to sit, desparately.
Looking up she saw a signboard
Style-Up spa and salon
One of the largest franchise of salons in the city. It's been quite sometime that June hadn't pampered herself with a spa.
Her head was already a little heavy from the wine and without giving much thought, she just dragged her tired legs up the stairs, reaching the first level of the building.
The stairs led to a passage and a large sliding glass door overlooking a lavish interior of the spa.
June took a deep breath and entered.
It was 8pm and the spa was empty. June lazily walked up to the empty manager's desk and called out a little loud.
"Is anyone here?"
