There was a subtle hint of kindness mixed with sensuality that June sensed from his voice.
It's been ages that someone had spoken this gently with her.
"Yes." June uttered softly as she felt his hands glide down gently from her head to the nape of her neck, massaging the joint, as the pressures sent a jolt of shiver down her body.
"It... It smells good." June murmured. " What's it?"
"Lavender oil." The man smiled and continued the magic of his fingers on her spine.
He pressed his fingers on her skin with perfect precision, making her arch her back in relaxation once again.
"I haven't felt this good in a long time." June sighed softly.
"Would you believe if I say I have been working non-stop for two months now... Without any off."
The man moved his hands on her forehead, messaging her temple gently.
"Why would you do that?"
"Good question. I was rooting for a promotion. But, today I got to know it's been given to someone else." June chuckled softly.
"So loves labour lost!" The man hushed.
"You read Shakespeare?" June asked looking up at him, with a surprised gaze, as her eyes met his for the first time.
A cold tingling sensation played throughout her body as she saw those deep dark grey eyes bearing deep in hers.
His face was exquisite, beautifully sculpted by some artist as his masterpiece. Sharp nose, thin red lips and a chiseled jawline made him appear perfect. June's eyes silde down from his face.
The man wore a black shirt, with the first two buttons opened, revealing his fair, hairless, gymned chest.
He was wearing an apron that was tied loosely around his neck. The shirt sleeves were rolled up above his elbows giving a delightful sight of his ripped muscles.
His masculinity was intimidating and
June's muscles tightened at the realisation.
"Yes, I have read Shakespeare." The man smiled.
The smirk escaping his lips caught June's attention completely as she turned her flushed face from him.
"What's your name? I mean I don't see a name tag." June asked politely.
"Subh." The man replied.
"Are you new to the city?"
"Yes, I am. Got transferred three months ago."
June replied as she felt his hands gliding down a little further along her spine. She had worn a deep cut dress that revealed a good amount of her shoulders.
"I guessed so." Subh replied.
"Why?"
"Well, all salons close up by 8pm here... And, it's a Saturday, so..."
June didn't let him complete his sentence.
"I had two options... This, or passing out in my bed with sleeping pills."
"Then I'd say you've chosen wisely." Subh remarked softly running his hands in a circular motion alone her spine, moving up to her bare arms.
"Do you feel good?" He asked.
Juned didn't reply. She just hummed a yes in response.
"Would you like to change and lie down for a proper massage?" Subh hesitated for a moment and asked.
June's slightly inebriated mind registered his words. She opened her eyes and looked up at him blankly.
"What do I have to do?"
