Dimitri immediately rushed to Alex's office and saw Alex pulling out a sword and shield
"Your majesty, what is the purpose that you called me for?"

Soon both of them begin to discuss the possible strategies and although not acceptable in this era Alex already Draft a plan for the future and only Sean Knight's order and suborders are the only ones who have close combat capabilities and are currently in the recruitment stage and Alex wanting to increase their numbers have to wait patiently

Each elite squad member except for Sean and Axe must have 20,000 men ready for battle and have a deadline of two years since in the next years Alex planned for the invasion and moved supplies slowly to Olympus and gathered data to conclude the invasion plan and constant vigilance to the outside of the empire and he knew that multiple nations that have a garage with Draconia wants to have a piece of their tech and land so their waiting for the empire to demobilize after the war with Chronos so they can seize the territories but they were wrong
Alex will lower his army he is going to permanently stand the army but slowly the normal soldiers will retire and his Draconian project will take over and replenish the number of losses and continue the rise of his technological empire
"So tell me if we decide to interfere with the current civil war in the Mystara archipelago what will be our losses against them?"
"If we deploy our forces and surround the archipelago and begin carpet bombing or strategic bombing it will cause them to unite and attack us and we can beat them in a war of attrition since it will be hard to replenish their numbers and our current information we can say that there currently hiring mercenaries to fight for their wars and the neutral faction isolated themselves in an island were they can better defend themselves"
Alex clasped his hands together and began concocting a plan
"So what is the current political situation for them or in any case we tried to interfere in their war covertly?"
"Well some clans are not focused on fighting in both factions and they are currently asking for support from the outside covertly even tried to contact Novoros promising them that they will provide powerful wizards in their aid and the only request is to send an army from them to assist and it was from both sides but since we discovered this we mobilized the shadow squadron to cease their actions and some disappeared in mysterious accidents," Dimitri said as he knew this event and Alex also knew since he's given daily reports to weekly summaries
"So this is my current plan send Erik the Red with the crimson legion that is stationed on our island named Alia and send them to have covert talks with the neutral faction and offer them refuge and use Ling as an example that we can offer them a place to stay with nothing to exchange and make sure 4 squadrons of wolf packs are watching the development and deploy our 1st fleet 1st battle carrier to do some reconnaissance" Alex ordered swiftly
Dmitri bowed and saluted before leaving the door
Soon the vice grandmaster of the Assasin X and current Grandmaster entered Alex's office and saluted Alex looked at him for a while and spoke
"So do you have the reports" Alex doesn't know his name even Axe since the man preferred it this way
"Yes, your majesty may I start?"

"I shall begin the external and internal situation of the empire first internal. Currently, our economy has not suffered any losses and continued slow growth and the citizens fully support the Draco government and they have some small concerns"
"And that is?"
"The emperor has no heir to inherit this massive empire?"
"...okay next one let's ignore that for now" Alex wanted to avoid that topic since he has no plans of dying and has already a backup plan in case he perished after that war with Chronos
"Next is that there we have zero corruption and the old nobles of Sigfried empire changed their surnames and began pursuing jobs available to them and we have been doing checks and currently have no plans to join the military since we have been avoiding that and next we did an inspection of the army and currently there's a few bullying and some spies captured before they could escape to another country"
Alex nodded and gestured for him to proceed
"Now for the external the High kingdom of Olympus has steadily increased their armed forces and factions of Olympus started to bribe our soldiers stationed to join their side promising rewards but were denied and our men were injured or tripled for denying an order and some lower gods tried to steal our hardware of weapons but were block off by the spartans stationed and were hunt down and sent to Zeus for punishment and lastly they tried kidnapping our men and torture them or threaten to join their side and all factions are allying and for zeus's he's outnumbered by Heras faction and her faction is the one instigating the kidnappings and hurting our men in the field" the assassin grit his teeth since they have been the ones defending and the gods are the one hurting the empires men with no repercussion
"Even with the anti-magic armor she can crush them to death with non-divinity attacks all right they led me to no choice order the Spartans to Execute order 666 stationed in Olympus and Exterminate half of the lower gods who die in her faction and make sure to activate the order when I begin my talk with Zeus since he's not doing anything," Alex said as he exudes his powers causing the room to shake even with the anti-magic reinforcement the room caused to tremble and his silver eyes slowly to change red
"So how about Chronos what's the situation"
"Um yes, your majesty…. The current situation for the Chronos horde is that they are low in power to their standards but to us its not the bombing operation we have inflicted, caused delays in his armies replenishment and have massive casualties with the campaign that the muscovy kingdom attacking them and currently chronos have a serious injury were he can't participate in battles so the Olympian front had low attacks from the titans ever since and for the two kingdoms under Olympus they have slowly recovered from the Economic downfall and are currently repairing the damage we have inflicted snd all smuggling activities to their kingdoms have ceased ever since we have deployed the wolfpacks near their waters to hunt smuggling ships to them and our airforce are currently taking photos of their military base and in an estimate of 2 years they can be ready for war but to our current closer inspection it is shown that they focus on their knights meaning that their bronze knights are regular soldiers and the silver knights are officers and lastly the generals are golden and guards of Athena"
Alex nodded and began listening to the report to the Hades kingdom reports say they are currently suffering from famine and are being aided by the puppet's kingdoms and their soldiers are their knights and are large in number
Novoros Duchy
Many months passed and the current war development was silent it was a back-and-forth skirmish and the Novoros Duchy had been growing and replenishing its forces and with the finished construction of the Star fortress that protects the Entryways to Novoros is Garrisoned by the battle-hardened soldiers and along with the 1st notorious Army numbering 500,000 and 5th special operations division of the Draconian Empire
Currently, a platoon of Novoros Soldiers and a Squad of Special forces soldiers board their Troop carriers that were issued by the empire and Humvees were sent to do a ground reconnaissance
"Tell me sir how far are we going?" The notorious commander of the platoons asked the special forces squad leader who was looking at the map and pointed at a village off the map
"We going to investigate a village nearby and be stationed as a sentry there for a while and were given 5 days of supplies and ammunition" The Draconian Special Forces squad leader spoke as he looked out of the window
Right now the men were equipped separately the platoon was equipped with a similar version of the M1 Garand but were given an extended clip of 20 ammo and the officers were using an M1 Thompson submachine gun but were given red dot sights and they have 3 snipers in their ranks and have MG31 recoiled single person machine gun and have only 5 of them
For the Special forces, 10 soldiers but 2 were snipers using the latest sniper rifle with 10x sight the soldiers with experimental rifles, and the officer with the soldiers used a similar version of the AK-74 but fired calling bullets and the military scientist Developed a recoil receiver meaning they can fire straight without heavy recoil
3 of those soldiers have grenade launchers equipped and one has an RPG the Draconian soldiers and the Novoros soldiers never thought of bringing their light mortar but the armored vehicles that they were being transported were equipped with 50 cal and anti-material machine gun
A few hours later
They arrived in a desolate walled elven village and when they got off they began inspecting and found empty houses and some equipment of elven soldiers left in storage when they located the head of the village house they found it empty and the place was still furnished
"Seems like they left in a hurry" One of the soldiers looked into the books and found them hard to understand
"Indeed order our men to bring in the vehicles and set up camp and place a few soldiers on the walls and Tell HQ of what we found and need our supplies" the special force Squad finished speaking as he went to the walls to get a better view and begin inspecting the surroundings
"Hmm the village is empty and we are 50km away from the fortress better to request an FRF on standby" the Squad leader began speaking through his radio After the communication center was established in the center of the village the soldiers began to take down the houses to repair some walls and by the order of the platoon commander created an inner wall to surround the main camp and they took turns and when ita night the special forces take over and wore or to be exactly consumed
A special potion that could let them see in the dark and they could shut it down if they wanted so they took 5-hour turns in the next day supplies arrived and they began setting up machine gun posts and watch towers that could be stationed by Snipers and things were silent on the field and They finished the temporary base
Next day
The special forces commander was in the middle of the village and they constructed a high watch tower with the flag of Novoros and Draconia he spotted trails of air dust and upon increasing the view he saw a large cavalry force carrying an unknown banner When he saw them stop 10km away from their location and saw some talking but don't know
"Men get ready for battle unknown cavalry force detected 10km north from our base be ready for battle!" He shouted at his radio below and soon the entire village became lively as soldiers below began to gear up some who were making lunch put the fire out and got their weapons loaded and the special forces soldiers began to position themselves
"What's the situation sir shall we call the FRF?" Questioned by his vice-captain
The squad leader shook his head
"For now we must witness what is their plan because if we call them they can intercept it and with their huge numbers they can surround them and capture them"
They waited for the next day instead of attacking they made camp and made wooden palisades and more soldiers or infantry began to appear and surround the village effectively cutting off their retreat wizards began to appear and siege units and the special forces captain knew this intention
A Siege
They plan to Drain their will to fight and make them surrender so they can interrogate them of the tech that the Novoros and Draconian empires possess
"Call the FRF but not only FRF we need the damn army and tell them we're bloody surrounded!!" He shouted to the communications officer
Next day
It has been three days since they were stationed here and their siege began
"Preserve your ammo and fire when you can hit them!" One of the officers shouted and soon catapults began to fire on the walls and elven archers with their superior archery began to rain arrows the soldiers of Novoros with their new body armor were not harmed along with the Draconian Special forces but although a few lucky shots landed
Soon the infantry began to advance and snipers began to kill off the officers in their ranks the soldiers began to fire their rifles killing many and when they reached the gate and flung it open they were met with the 50cal vehicles and began killing the elven infantry in the hundreds and when ladders arrive smoke was released as they threw smoke grenades blinding the enemy as they try to climb the walls but were drop by unknown grass and they begin to cough out blood and begin to fall in the dozens and the battle rage on
The next day continued battle no one felt fear in the village soldiers changed shifts in fighting as the first shift ate breakfast and changed to noon and midnight
Soon they heard cavalry hooves and when the special forces commander gazed at the numerous armored horses charging with their banners meaning they a knight order were charging at the opening at the gates
"Three of you with me Grenadiers fire at the catapults and RPG fire at them also use 5 rockets only" he shouted as he dashed with the 3 soldiers to the gate and saw the mounted knights begin to jump off from their steeds as they were killed by the nearby soldiers seeing them entering and the squad captain saw one night moving to him drew his knife and attach it to the end of his sword and they begin the duel
He immediately blocked a vertical slash with his gun and used the shoulder stock and strike the head of the knight knocking off the helmet and showing its gender it was a woman with silver hair and emerald eyes glaring at the commander but he was entering for a moment and charged at her and the sword was like a fence style
They exchanged blows and tried to block off an attack but her sword aimed for his face thanks to the mask it slid off with sparks and kicked her in the stomach and after creating distance he fired a round hitting her in the shoulder and making her groan in pain and made her charge again but her sword was redirected and the special forces commander lunch her face hard making her fall unconscious and the rest of the knights that followed her fell to the bullets or captured and carrying them back to the wall
The battle ended leaving hundreds of eleven soldiers dead and an important captured
