Author Note before the charter starts: To my Dear readers sorry for the late chapter upload my laptops left arrow key was broken so i couldn't type well and this caused to irritate me so when i choose to upload the next day i forget so i have no excuses for now and decided to upload a double release next Friday as compensation and i wish to have real readers not ghost readers i need to comments to improve on so for now enjoy the chapter peace out.
Chapter starts~
After resting, the soldiers felt elated that they could return after enduring a long siege. However, they knew that the special forces accompanying them would assess their survival and combat willingness. Thus, they endured.
Soon, war horns blared, and magic spells rained down on the walls. Elves, with renewed vigor, charged at the walls, while shock troopers targeted the gates instead of the walls, learning from recent mistakes. They broke through the gate but encountered a makeshift crossbow trap. When triggered, it unleashed hundreds of arrows, skewering and killing many soldiers. Elven soldiers climbed atop the walls and began helping others, while archers arrived and rained down arrows.
As arrows fell, Novarosi soldiers took cover, while Draconian Forces continued firing at the gathering elven soldiers. "Demolition, hit it!" shouted the captain, and the demolition expert triggered explosives, causing a pillar supporting the wall to explode and collapse. Some elven soldiers lost balance and fell to their deaths amidst the debris.
Despite this setback, the elves regrouped and charged the final fortress. However, traps within nearby houses and sniper fire thwarted their plans. Wizards joined the battle, releasing spells to damage the walls.
"Sir, the walls won't hold if this continues!" an officer shouted.
"Continue to hold out just a few more hours," the special forces soldier leading them replied.
Eventually, the gates exploded, and elven soldiers charged in, hoping to catch the defenders off guard. However, they were met with a countercharge, forcing them to retreat. Suddenly, the sound of helicopter engines and vehicles filled the air, and rows of tanks and armored vehicles arrived, posing a significant threat to the elves.
The elves, realizing the imminent danger, were forced to withdraw but were blocked by attack helicopters and soldiers. Facing the onslaught of tank shells, they surrendered.
Following the battle, snipers targeted and killed high-ranking officers. The Novorosi soldiers and Draconian special forces showed indifference towards the fallen elves.
"We should send them to the concentration camp," the special forces captain suggested.
Deciding on rigging the destroyed village with explosives, they prepared to depart. The squad captain informed the elven princess that he would take her to the empire as a prisoner of war.
"See, we are powerful enough, but we don't seek world domination," he explained. "The emperor believes in decisive action to prevent internal conflict and collapse."
The elven princess understood and boarded a transport helicopter back to Novoros.
In Draconia, Alex received the report of the capture attempt and was briefed on the situation. The captured elves claimed they were guided by their emperor and their gods to learn and replicate technology. Alex instructed vigilance and increased reconnaissance.
"Order our men to be vigilant," he commanded. "This skirmish with the gods requires close monitoring. And provide me with a status report on the Novorosi army upgrade."
The general reported that over 70% of the army was fully equipped and trained for war. The rest were recruits in need of further training.

"I see well treat them well and reward him and his team with an 1 week stay at the popular resort" Alex said seeing the reports and achievements and although alex saw how he has not use the armored vehicles to escape but decide to stay in his position not allowing them to loose and Alex knows even the special forces are also still getting used to this age of technology that the empire is experiencing
"Yes your majesty i shall ready the reward for them" the general saluted and turned the communicator off and after a few minutes alex decided to head towards the stepstones and planned to talk to the first born of gods
Alex left his office heading to the helipad outside of the palace and after a few minutes they head towards the location were Alex read the location he knows its somewhat a dangerous place
And any stray titan head towards that location was immediately killed and Alex was also doing the the request of Aphrodite and Alex was fulfilling it now
A few hours later
Alex was right now looking down below and saw the stepstones and when he look at the helicopter pilot and spoke
"Im dropping here" after he speak he opened the helicopter door
"Uh sir do you need a parachute?" the co pilot ask
"Hey! Mick his majesty is a god he doesn't need a parachute" the pilot shouted to his co pilot
"Right sorry" the co pilot mick said scratching his cheek in embarrassment
"Its alright-"
Alex immediately keep his posture and just waiting for the ground to be touched
BOOOOOOM
As he landed on the ground as it created a small crater and when he look around he can see its quite desolate and he begin moving and after a few minutes walking he look up and saw the giant pillars of rock a few km apart more like pillars holding the sky up
And when alex was about to stop walking he saw a old lady walking and wearing a blue robe carrying large basket behind her back and was smiling a bit Alex approach the old lady and took of his mask and spoke
"Um excuse me grandma were is the land of the god of time Arthur" he knows that this is his territory and after further scouting by his men its only a piece of land but his range is large and no one pass through here since Arthur has his known knights or his standing army to find them and kill them
"Oh you're here to visit him come follow me its not that far" Alex nodded after hearing the response and slowly followed her
5 hours later
It was already afternoon and alex believed that he was close and at that moment he felt that he entered a domain and when he turned to the grandma all he saw was a youthful 20s girl instead of the grandma
"Were close to the land we just entered his domain" the once grandma was now youthful spoke with a enthusiastic voice
Alex didn't say anything and only nodded and after few more minutes he arrived in a steps of stairs spiraling up to the top and he gasped for a moment.
"So lets go?" the grandma spoke
Alex nodded and they began walking up and when Alex look out to the sky he was a bit shock since the time before eh entered was the afternoon but now its morning and when Alex begin to reread through his mind and knew the man has the powers of the gods of Olympus since if your the first born of gods you can be the one control the powers.
After a few hours and when Alex calculated it is almost two days and he knew he is near and know the grandma infront of him has great stamina
A few minutes later
Alex already arrived and saw a small village and people moving around peacefully and when he sense their age its almost 200 years!
Alex continue to look around some are in their 60s 40s and the youngest is 25 alex was more confused as he continue to look around and saw some food shops and bought and ate and was amazed
"Tell me how many people are there?" Alex ask as he continue to eat the bought fish sandwich
"Its over 3,000 people and only 500 are the standing soldiers but their a force to reckoned since the last chronos invasion ended it great victory"
"And when was it?"
"20 years ago?"
Alex nodded and continued to a certain house or mansion and when they entered he saw a good enough furniture and saw people clad in armor and holding a spear or bow and have a secondary longsword and Alex look at the equipment and it know their strong and can fight him in equal grounds unless he drew in everything then he can win
"Hes in the backyard Mr.?"
"Mr. Draco the full name is Alex luker draco" Alex said as he completed his name in order not to create misunderstandings
"Hmm is see your the Emperor of the Draconian empire and that crest on your left shoulder says it otherwise" the youthful grandma spoke
Alex gazed at his right shoulder and he knew why he place the sigil of his family since its memento of the days before he became the emperor
He nodded back and when they head to the back yard they saw a person meditating while levitating and had two sword hovering around him one is translucent blue shortsword and the other a straight long blade
"So your here" after getting close about 18ft alex heard a young and wise voice
And the man stop levitating and in his meditating position and turn his head and spoke
"I have been waiting for you God of Balance Alex luker Draco Emperor of the Draconian empire" he finished he opens his eyes and they were azure blue
