/"Miss Hill,/" the medical director very respectfully gestured to me to come forward. Despite the crowd inside, the room instantly turned quiet upon hearing my name.
/"If you please, can you try reading the patient's chart?/" The medical director asked with a slightly shaky voice. I blinked at him before nodding and taking the chart on his hand.
/"There is a stable improvement in your laboratory results. If you keep this up, you can be discharged in seven days at the minimum,/" I simply told the patient on the bed. However, although she was looking at me with wide eyes, it seemed that the grandma did not hear a word that I said. Thus, I sat at the side of her bed before touching her hand and telling her, /"Good job, grandma./"
The grandma blinked before bursting into laughter. /"It's all thanks to you, doctor,/" she told me with almost worshiping eyes.
