EMMA'S POV
What would one think when the claws of death were about to come?
Would that someone be so frightened to the point where her body was frozen? Or would she try her best to save herself or another?
Unfortunately, I was placed in that situation and I only had a fraction of a second to choose my decision.
The bright lights of the car flashed on my eye, effectively blinding me. And for that important second, I could only hear the fast approaching car and the erratic beating of my heart.
Judging from its speed, the car would hit us before we get out of its way.
'No! There's no time!' was the only thing that I could think before I pushed Lina to the side with all the strength that I could muster. I managed to push her away from the danger. Unfortunately, there was no time for me to move myself. The car would hit me any moment. And basing on the force that it would hit me with, I would probably die.
