/"wow didn't know you were this happy to see me/" I said staring at her.
/"Cole's here/" she exclaimed. I narrowed my eyes and looked around. It wasn't that busy since it was Tuesday night.
I thought he wasn't eating, this kind of puts a hole in their story.
/"how long as he been here/" I asked.
/"since 7 this morning, he's been reading and doing work all day and hasn't ordered anything but water/" I coughed loudly, nearly choking on my own spit.
Is he insane?
/"keep that area clear, I don't think he wants any noise/" I tell her as I walk to grab my apron.
She nods as she walks up to some new customers.
I took one final look over at him. He was hunched over, his fingers flicking through a textbook as his mac book was playing some sort of YouTube video.
