#Chapter3
BLOODLUST
I sucked the straw until the flask was empty. I breathed exhilarated and wiped my mouth. That definitely helped, I can already feel it. I let my head fall back against the wall and closed my eyes.
/"I know I said I was going to bring you a vampire, but I hope that did the trick./" Luca chuckled.
I hummed and nodded my head.
/"We don’t have vampires lying around for you to feed on, so don’t get too used to it./" He mentioned as I felt him coming closer to me.
I snorted and opened my eyes. I glanced at him from the corner of my eyes and chuckled.
/"Now you’ve given me blood, I need it regularly./" I took a deep breath and glared at him, /"if I don’t, bloodlust will kick in and you’ll all be fucked./"
Bloodlust would certainly help in this situation, but without proper anchoring, I would lose myself. It would become about the need to feed, nothing else would matter. There is a chance that I would forget everything, home, everyone, even myself. It is just a risk that I am not ready to take, at least not yet.
/"I’m assuming bloodlust isn’t a good thing?/" He asked.
/"These,/" I lifted the straps on the bed, /"wouldn’t hold me and you, I’d either feed on you or kill you and anyone else in my way./" I explained.
He stared at me, seeming to mull over my answer before he nodded his head.
/"Okay, I’ll sort it./" He grumbled.
He placed his hand on my thigh, and I stiffened, edging away from him.
/"Why don’t you feel the bond?/" He asked, /"I feel it every time we touch./"
/"I don’t have my wolf to make the connection./" I shrugged, /"I felt the bond, I know who you are to me, but without Allie, you’re nothing but my kidnapper./"
/"If you had your wolf, you’d want me?/" He asked, sounding hopeful.
/"No, probably not./" I answered, /"I mean, under different circumstances yes./"
He sighed and shook his head. /"I wish I had met you when I was sixteen, before all the bad things were said about you./"
I rolled my eyes and scoffed. /"You know, it’s not too late to change./"
/"No, too much has happened. We’ll keep doing this until the mark takes and you’re mine./" He sighed.
He stood up and glanced back at me, /"I’ll be back later./"
I rolled my eyes as he headed towards the door.
/"Hey, Luca?/"
He stopped walking and glanced over his shoulder at me.
/"How long have I been here?/" I asked.
I’ve asked him so many times, but he never answers. I hope now we can have at least a civil conversation, he may tell me. A huge sinister grin spread across his face when he turned to face me. Whatever he’s about to say next, from the expression on his face, I’m not going to like it.
He sauntered towards the bed and stopped. Leaning forward, he placed each hand beside my head on the wall and leaned in close.
/"Four months,/" he whispered, before brushing his lips across mine.
/"I’m tired, can you leave me alone now?/" I whispered, looking away.
He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, /"I wish you would let me in./"
I closed my eyes, ignoring him, and laid on the bed. I pulled my legs up to my chest and made myself small. I could still feel his eyes on me as he opened the door, but I kept my eyes closed.
/"If you would give me a chance, you would see how good we could be./" He claimed before closing the door.
I dragged in a shaky breath as I heard the door lock. I don’t know what’s worse, knowing how long I’ve been here or not. We must be far away from home for my family not to be able to track me... That is if my family is alive.
I closed my eyes, letting sleep wash over me.
I woke up startled as the door opened, banging into the wall. I sat abruptly and glared at the open doorway. I furrowed my brows at the guy staring back at me.
He moved towards me, pulling a cloth out of his pocket, then unhooking some handcuffs from his belt. I kept my eyes on him as he stopped in front of me.
/"Don’t worry, pretty girl, I don’t bite,/" he chuckled, /"not unless you ask./"
I rolled my eyes, swinging my legs off the bed. /"Where are we going?/" I questioned.
He carefully took hold of my hands and placed the cuffs on my wrists. He dropped the cloth beside me on the bed and leaned forward, his face inches away from mine.
/"You know, it’s not fair that Luca gets you all to himself./" He whispered, forcing his face into my neck.
I snarled at him and jerked my head back, /"don’t touch me./"
/"Alora, be quiet, otherwise it’s going to be a lot worse./" He snarled in a whisper.
I jumped up, throwing my head forward. A sickening pop sounded out in the room as my head connected with his nose. He fell the floor, letting me go.
/"You fucking bitch!/" He yelled, covering his face with his hands.
/"Touch me again, and I’ll break more than your nose./" I snapped.
I shot my head to the door when someone cleared their throat. Luca and another male were standing in the doorway, glaring at us.
/"He started it./" I shrugged.
/"What the fuck happened?/" Luca growled.
The other male grabbed Luca’s shirt and pulled him back when he tried to come inside the room. I stepped around the creep, kneeled at my feet, and went towards Luca. The other guy was eyeing me curiously as I paused in front of Luca.
/"Did he hurt you?/" Luca asked through gritted teeth as he scanned his eyes over my face.
/"No,/" I shook my head as Luca gently brushed his fingers against my jaw.
/"Lawrence, can you deal with him?/" He asked, not taking his eyes from my face.
/"I will./" Lawrence answered without taking his eyes from me.
Lawrence came forward and stopped beside me. /"You’re your father’s daughter./" He sighed, before disappearing behind me.
/"You know my dad?/" I blurted, turning to look at him.
/"Alora,/" Luca spoke.
I glanced back at Luca and raised my brow. He was holding the cloth up in front of him and smiling at me.
/"I need to put this blindfold on you, but I promise you’ll be safe./" He expressed.
I sighed, nodding my head. He placed the blindfold over my eyes and tied it around my head. He slackened the handcuffs a little and pulled on them.
/"I’ll lead you, don’t worry./" He chuckled, holding onto the handcuffs.
I followed him blindly as he led the way. I wish I would see where we are, or at least how many were here. I could get a rough idea of the layout and find an opening to escape.
After we turned so many corners, he finally stopped. I heard a door open, and he pulled me inside.
/"Remember, what I said, know your place./" Luca growled.
/"Who me?/" I blurted.
/"No, not you./" He answered, taking the blindfold off.
My eyes zoned in on a guy sitting on a bed with his head in a book.
/"Alora, meet Brody./" Luca grumbled, /"he’s a vampire, and he’s offered to let you feed on him whenever you want./"
