This was the first time James saw her after their talk at the bus station. The woman was wearing a wine-red tank top and grey shorts. Her blue hair was even messier than the man’s and just like him, she was also panting. Nyx ignored James, as if he wasn’t there at all and glared at the man. /"If you dare say a word to mom, I will hang you from your toes!/"
/"Psycho!/" The man barked the word.
/"Dense fuck twat!/"
James was left stunned, being ignored as if he was empty air until the man got in the elevator. Once he was out of sight, Nyx turned to James looking like she had just noticed him there. What's worse was that she acted as though she hadn't ignored him for more than a week.
Nyx flashed him a smile. Her hand ran through her hair, her fingers combing the mess down. /"Good evening./"
