Miller didn’t know how to explain it. He was a crime scene technician and not a detective. But he knew one thing for sure. Nyx and Nick weren’t dating. Unlike James, he had met Nyx a couple of times when she met up with Nick, and it was obvious that the woman didn’t like Nick at all. She flirted with James like there was no tomorrow but scared the shit out of Nick. But it was also true that she really cooked for Nick. Miller had seen the woman with his own two eyes giving the food container to Nick and telling him to eat it all by himself.
