The tenth annual Guild Games was fast approaching which was like a festival where both citizens and different adventurers, guilds, and parties in and out of Aramoor gather either to recruit new members or participate against one another in a series of events.
Souta and Hina were looking forward to it because for Souta it was his first Guild Games while Hina saw it as a chance to recruit more members into her guild

"Hurry up Miss Hina we're gonna miss the grand opening" Souta stated
"Alright I'm coming" she hooked her bra and put on her gown "how bout Akiko".
"She already left a few minutes ago"
They both locked the door of the guild before heading to the king's castle. Not only did they meet Akiko plus the Crimson Demons when they arrived they also saw different popular guilds both from Aramoor and outside of Aramoor with some of the members possessing a large aura.
Suddenly the whole place fell quiet as the king's assistant Hagiwara Junichi walked out of the palace and stood on the balcony looking down at all the Adventurers and citizens.
"Good afternoon everyone. For those of you new to Aramoor and don't know, I'm Hagiwara Junichi personal assistant of the king of Aramoor Anzai Nobuyuki who will now relay a few words to us"
The king slowly walked out of the palace with his two guards right behind him. "Good evening citizens and guests from afar, adventurers and guild masters. I humbly welcome you to Aramoor in hopes that you will enjoy this year's guild games. That said let the tenth annual Guild Games commence". The whole kingdom gave a loud cheer before heading out of the palace to set up stalls and games for the Guild Games.
After a few hours of playing some festival games and eating lots of snacks Souta, Hina, and Akiko all sat near the fountain at the centre of Aramoor
"Almost feels like it was yesterday huh?" Hina sighed
"what'd you mean" Souta asked
"When you first came to Aramoor the ninth Guild game was being held but that's passed. Guess I'll go try to recruit more members how about you" she asked Souta
"I'm just gonna have a look around" he smiled
"I can't grab more members on my own" Hina pouted. Akiko offers to lend her a helping hand since she didn't have much to do and they all split up.
Souta walked around the whole town in search of what to do till he stumbled upon a funny-dressed man who offered him a chance to participate in the royal tournament stating that it was a chance for young Adventurers like Souta to not only earn money but fame for both them and the guild they're from.
"Hina's using her free time to try to recruit new members, guess I could try helping out a little" he thought to himself and quickly signed up for the tournament. "Nice doing business with you, seems like you are currently in last place in terms of ranking since you're new. So I did you a little favour by setting you up for the first match" The man smiled patting Souta on the back "now get in there and win".
The official made his way to the ring and started by getting the crowd fired up for the first match in the royal tournament. "From Hina's Guild currently a Branker, Suzuki Souta" he screamed. The crowd began to roar as Souta slowly made his way onto the stage, Souta stared around and saw more than a thousand people all watching him plus the king himself and immediately got cold feet.
"At the other corner from the Helios Guild, Arakawa Takeshi"
A tall buffed black man wielding a sledgehammer walked onto the stage, "It's you" Souta screamed pointing at the man. The man confused asked if he'd met Souta anywhere, "when I first came to Aramoor you didn't let me join your guild" Souta pouted. "Oh you, sorry but I don't Doo business with weaklings" Takeshi mocked. He quickly appeared in front of Souta and struck Souta, smashing him into the ground.
"Sorry brat but I'm in it to win it" he smirked as he walked away from the stage
"Same here" Souta replied using a kick-up to get himself back on his feet and dusted his outfit. Takeshi asked Souta how he was able to survive such an attack.
"Simple answer to a simple question..... you're weak" Souta replied face planting Takeshi into the ground and was immediately declared the winner.
After Souta's victory, the whole arena was shocked and fell quiet and other adventurers became cautious of Souta in the tournament. The matches kept on going and different competitors kept on getting knocked out.
"I saw your victory" Mai patted Souta on his back
"Big sister. Thank you very much but what are you doing here" he wondered
"Just a bit bored and decided to check if there would be anybody fun to fight besides Kuro, guess it's my turn again" she boldly made her way to the stage as soon as the official introduced her
Her opponent Kobayashi Haru from the Night Crawlers guild made his way onto the stage, and slowly approached Mai. Mai looks down on him while releasing a vile aura causing him to immediately start sweating and soon after he forfeited the match.
"You see no fun at all when you're an S rank" She stated walking down from the stage "maybe I'll quit"
"Don't, after all....you still haven't fought me" Souta stared her in the eyes
"interesting but Just because you're like a brother to me doesn't mean I'll go easy on you" she smirked
"Come at me with everything you have"
"Hoo getting a little cocky are we" Mai Smirked "Guess we'll have to wait and see"
The two competitors entered the ring One of them went by the name Bolder; a tall, buffed male putting on nothing but a pteruges while the other was was called Assassin who wore nothing but an all black outfit with a mask
