Chereads / STRIFE: A Life and Death Tale / Chapter 127 - 127.) Diane and King William.

Chapter 127 - 127.) Diane and King William.

It was at the end of a grueling day that the Rebellion finally could rest themselves and plan for the future. Split in two as of now, they go about their schemes for the coming battle while a small militia group, led by Maliik would go on to do a separate mission. One that would cause them to directly infiltrate the Grand House of Beel. The true leading House to the Clan and currently host to an enemy of the Clan. A being who has corrupted their very home and stirred it into a place of madness and chaos. But one could only see that there must be hope at the end of this tunnel. Seeing as a group that protects the clan has yet to spring into action. Deeming this situation as one that can still be reversed if done right. And so the Rebels hold dear to this hope and grasp at it. Refusing to let go as they gain a tighter grip, little by little.

Currently we find ourselves in the War Room of the Rebels' base. It was here that we could find Maliik and his team preparing for their mission. He briefs them all on the plan he and Queen Nagita had schemed just before he came to assist in battle. Everyone present had their undivided attention set on Maliik. Awaiting his word on what was to go down during the mission. And how the mission itself would go once commenced.

Maliik: "Alright all, we have one singular goal here. It's to find out who the Beel member is."

Dawn: "Hm… alright. Seems simple enough."

Dante: "Indeed, mate. I'm guessing you have something other than snuffing them out in mind?"

Maliik: "Yeah, if we can at least do that much and find out their identity. Then we can get information on said member and prepare countermeasures for their abilities. Specifically…"

Aurorin: "Their ability to corrupt others to such a degree. Am I right?"

Maliik: "Yeah, you are correct. We'll be needing SOME decent info on whoever is behind all this if we want to assure we can avoid defeat in this coming battle."

Dante: "That makes sense, it's a sound strategy to assure our side victory. Especially when we have warriors that could actually accomplish that feat."

Maliik: "Yes sirrr, but everyone. Earlier I did sound a bit harsh when setting the tone on the Killing or not killing William thing. But… I do want to make sure we try every viable option before taking him out. He's a bit more than just a friend after all."

Everyone smiles at Maliik as he bows his head. Looking down into the table and taking a deep breath. Looking up once more with his usual glare.

Maliik: "Alright, it's high time we all go down to the details of how we'll go about entering the House of Beel. Mainly due to the fact that I've felt a watching eye for quite some time. It's certain they know what I have found, and would know that we'll soon be coming."

Dawn: "Only natural, our enemy is of such caliber after all. But something that's been bugging me as of late has arisen in my mind once more."

King Luu: "Mhm… is it the fact that you think there can be more than one Beel House member involved?"

Dawn: "Precisely, father."

Dante: "Mhm… That's a troubling thought. In more ways than one."

Maliik: "There definitely is, I mean… just think about it. How else could one person take control of so many Gods including those who could be a threat to the clan on their lonesome?'

Aurorin: "That… that makes perfect sense actually. So… it's safe to assume that this Beel member is working with other members of their house."

Dante: "More than likely a team that they lead as they try and corrupt the entire clan."

King Luu: "More than likely. But that's something we can fully figure out once we're within their House's grounds."

Dawn: "You're right father, so I'd say we go about how we'll be going in there undetected. Eh, Maliik?"

Maliik: "Right, I got the right plan for it, so listen closely everyone."

Maliik and the others discussed the plan that would lead them into the Beel House successfully. Listening closely to the details of the plan as it was dire that no one messed up when going through the steps. It could cause a complete catastrophe for them all and maybe even a fatality. Resulting in loss that the Rebellion could not afford to risk. Meanwhile, we find ourselves finally adventuring into the House of the Lumiairess family. The lead House of the Clan that sat at the top of the ginormous mountain range that held all three of the galaxy sized houses. Each one being shaped like a castle of its own. Their size was meant to allow the more powerful gods to walk around in a size more fit to their Power Scale Level. Allowing them to freely walk about in their gigantic forms that better held their power in check without the use of essence for compression. Though there are some that remain in their mortal(human) size to constantly train their essence control. Building their essence pools and reserves as they do.

Currently we venture into the Lumiairess House to take a peek at their lives and the plans that King William would be scheming. Within their Hosye, we found a completely blacked out interior that fit the look of corruption. A direct contrast to the white theme that the Murdicc House held dearly. From their walls hung many artwork and Tapestries of their family and the Clan's history in its totality. Almost like the entire castle was a shrine to the Clan of Luminaria itself. Quite the sight to see for anyone visiting its grounds. They'd be walking on the marvelous marble style flooring that stretches throughout the castle's living quarters and spaces. While their kitchens, meeting halls and the many rooms used for political and economical topics. Had their floors covered in a kind of glossed metallic material. One that could reflect and trap light so that their inhabitants and the many clan members can take their true forms. Becoming beings of light while still retaining their actual appearance we've gotten accustomed to.

We walk down an eerie corridor riddled with traps. One that would lead us all to a white door trimmed with gold. The door had the likeness of the insignia for the three lead houses of the clan written on the surface. It creeps open to reveal the throne room within. A room that was completely white, a direct contrast to the black theme of the rest of the House. A throne chair sat near the back, in a direct line to the front door. There were many paintings of the past kings and queens that have ruled since the dawn of this Clan's creation. Many statues of their great beasts, the Lumiya, sat around the room. Showing great amounts of appreciation for the clan's culture. It was to the west wing of the room, in front of a desk sat King William with a few papers in front of him. His elder sister and the leader of the Three Rays, Diane stood beside him and directed his actions when it came to his paperwork.

Diane: "You twit! The one time you're in control of yourself and you've forgotten how to go about scheming strategy. Great prono, help me." *Smack*

She palms her own forehead out of frustration.

William: "Tsch, give me a break! That bastard has me mind all scrambled about. No need to add stress to that as well, dontcha think, heathen?

Diane: "Hmph, not an excuse today Lord William. *Pat* Let's get rid of that scrambling for the time being. I'll erase it with the Erasure concept I've mostly conquered with my Zenchi."

She places her hand on his head.

William: "Good, it's a great privilege to have you at my side through all of this. Thank you, sister."

Diane: "Tsch (I swear I'll snuff that bastard out. I SWEAR IT!!) *Sniffle* Erase!"

She uses her control of the concept to quite literally erase the distortion within King William's mind. Bringing him back to his senses finally.

Her doing so shouldn't be much of a surprise though. Her history with William runs deep as siblings. They've been together for thirty-thousand years before their brothers were born. And their brothers are more than ten-thousand years old. Nearly the same age as Shiishii himself. So that's more than forty-thousand years together for these two. Through those years, they have gone on adventures to no end, protecting one another during their outings. Before William was set to be king, succeeding their father who willingly stepped down to be the assistant to Brittany Beel. The light clan's representative within the esteemed Grand Council.

It was the long time that they spent together that sparked such a bond between them. One that ended up being shared when Maliik, their closest friend within the clan met them. Sparring the both of them as a brief argument about who's House is more powerful. Solidifying their bond after beating the tar out of each other. It was then that their history together began, a bond that can't be broken. Even while being on opposing sides.

Maliik: (Hmm… William, we'll getcha back for sure!)

William: "Tsch! About damn time. Ugh… he's a son of a bitch. I still can't manage to rip off that Shroud he wears while we talk within my mind. But I can definitely say one thing…"

Diane: "Which would be?"

William: "He… He doesn't seem to want to waste essence. Even with the gap between us, which will be closed soon. He never stays to fight me for long, especially now that I've gotten good enough to make contact with either my physical or an essence technique."

Diane: "Ah… seems you're getting closer to ridding your mind of him… good. I wouldn't want him using you to weaken Maliik and Dante or some shit like that."

William: "Mhm… you still don't find it weird that you guys dated, despite basically being cousins?"

Diane: *SMACK*

William: "OW!!!"

Diane: "We found out about that afterwards. Plus his father is an adopted child to our grandmother. Either way… neither one of us regrets a thing, nor do we view the other as family of that sort. We share no blood whatsoever and we're not raised to look at one another as cousins. We didn't even meet him until we were well within our hundreds in age."

William: "Mhm, I guess you're right in that regard. But that Delio-Dant, he has caught my interest for sure. I-I have high hopes that he can truly lead this clan out of this dark age."

Diane: "Indeed… though, he won't be getting the chance to beat the guy who corrupted our home. I will!" *Glare*

William: (She's been pissed about this the whole time, huh?)

He looks into the papers before him with a solemn look within his eyes.

*KNOCK* *Knock*

A knock at the door could be heard. But Diane and William weren't expecting anyone to be coming to the room today. She walked over with a slow pace, feeling out the essence of who could be at the door. From what she could tell, it was two signatures sitting at the door. Both were familiar to her, which would make sense since it was their two younger, twin brothers. Ny'Eiir and Tomford were waiting for the door to open. Sensing that their sister was coming to let them in.

Tomford: "Mhm mhhm hrm mrhmn (I can sense that our brother is back to his normal self.)"

Ny'Eiir: "Seems like it. Means we can talk to big bro without the interference of that menace that corrupted our home."

Tomford: "Mhm… (Mhm…)"

The door was opened by Diane who had a Grin on our face. Hugging her two younger brothers as they enter the room. Pats on the back are shared amongst them. Though Tomford and Ny'Eiir's focus were more centered on William. He sat idly by in his desk chair, staring at his younger siblings. Rising from his seat to go and greet them.

William: "Been a bit too long since I've been able to ACTUALLY interact with my two baby brothers."

He hugs both Tomford and Ny'Eiir as they approach his person.

Ny'Eiir: "Far too long if you ask me, brother."

Tomford: "Mrhm hm mhm, mrhn Mailliw. (Far too long, brother William.)"

William: "Tomford… still continuing your training, eh?"

Tomford: "Mh. (Yep.)"

He nods his head just before taking a seat within an essence created throne chair.

William: "Hmph, nice. Well… now that we're all here, we can plan how we'll deal with our oppressor."

Diane: "Indeed. It should be a grand time for us all. A time for us to decisively scheme about a strategy that will rid our clan of this corruption once and for all!"

Ny'Eiir: "Heh *Smirk* damn right!"

Diane, William and their younger twin brothers all conjure about a roundtable that sat in the middle of his throne room. Everyone took their seats and began to scheme what they'd be doing next. Though there was also the fact that they must plan a counterattack for the Rebellion. They came to the conclusion that it'd be horrific to allow their homes to be destroyed by those who don't fully understand their stance on the matter. So, in quick succession… it was decided that it'd be a good idea to bring about the Beams. A group of ten that served the Three Rays as their backup. Ny'Eiir and Tomford both commanded four Lesser Beams whilst Diane held command over the two Higher Beams. Though it's well known that Diane controls the entire team including her two fellow Rays.

William: "Mhm… that sounds rather perfect for this occasion. Though… I'd love it if we could get the Luums in on it."

Ny'Eiir: "The Luums, eh? I don't really mind it, but…"

Tomford: "Mhm…"

Diane: "Does someone amongst the Luums rub you the wrong way?"

Ny'Eiir: "Yeah, yeah there is someone amongst them that gives off an ominous feel. One that soaked in Malice and mystery."

William: "The Luums have been the same for quite some time. Just who amongst them could've suddenly given you this feeling?"

Ny'Eiir: "It was the Golden Luum and his odd similarity in essence signature. A similarity to none other than… Delio-Dant and his Archive Study. As to why I've never had this feeling before? It was due to us never having fought by their side before."

William and Diane both looked at one another in disbelief. Thinking that there was no way in the Risen, nor Fallen realms that a guy like the Golden Luum could snatch pages from Dante. It was truly unheard of in all of the Archive's long history.

Diane: "Mhm… just who the hell is Golden if this is all true?"

William: "No idea… but good shit on finding such a thing, brother Ny'Eiir."

Tomford: "Mhm, Nedlog? (Golden, eh?)"

Ny'Eiir: "Yeah, best we look into it."

Diane & William: *Nod* "Yeah…"

As the siblings continue their discussion. We finally take a trip down to the House of Lanthermines. First time heading there without Maliik being the reason, hehe. But we find ourselves closing in on a section of the castle that holds a bunch of colorful doors. Ones that led to gigantic rooms that belong to their highly astute militia force. The mighty Luums in their totality, though… we won't be exploring their complete force just yet. For now… we'll focus on the only Luum to raise an eyebrow with their actions besides Meachie. We're talking about the Golden Luum, Ro'Kanthir… the supposed uncle of Dante.

We take a dive into a massive room and private quarters. A room comprised of Golden knick-knacks, weapons, clothing, armor and furniture. And even though it served as a space for rest and personal time. He, himself used it as a chance to do research. Which is why the room is set up to look more like an office rather than a living space. A research lab rather than a place of immediate comfort. Such was the agenda and work Ro'Kanthir loyally follows as he searches for a way to achieve his highest and most esteemed Goal.

Ro'Kanthir: "Hm… these pages are connected to him as well it would seem."

He rustled through the many pages that sat in front of him. Rearranging their order and bringing them all together. Once done, this seemed to cause a type of reaction within them.

Ro'Kanthir: "That was the right order after all? Good, now they should all come together and create…"

A small light bloomed out from within all the pages. Harmonizing with the others as they fused together. Forming a light that blinded even Ro'Kanthir, forcing him to shield his eyes as the pages melded together. The light wrapped around them like a book's own spine, front and back covers. Creating a completely new Archive that shrunk into a small book. It looked as though it were Armored with a blackened red hue to its covers and spine. One could call is the…

Ro'Kanthir: "Sub-Archive: Grimoire Class."

He grinned as he stared at his new creation. Grabbing hold of the chain that was attached to the book's upper corner located on the spine.

Ro'Kanthir: "Now we're one step closer to forcing that spirit back into the book with an actual consciousness and all. His time of rest is coming to an end. Nishishii!!"

Dante: "Mhm!" *Glare*

Dawn: "You alright there, Dante?"

Dante: "Yeah, I just… felt an odd presence just now."

Dawn: "Mhm… well come on then, man. We've got business to attend to."

She walks ahead of him, catching up with the others as they go towards the location of their selected "Outsiders".

Dante: "Yeah, I gotcha. (Just what was that, just now?)

He looks onward before following behind Dawn and the others.

William: "Hm… so we'll go with these strategies as of now. Each one being able to go well with the situations at hand. Are we all good here?"

Diane: "Yes, if there's any holes found in them, I'll patch them up and fill you three in, cool?"

Ny'Eiir: "Sounds good to me."

Tomford: "Mhm. (Agreed.)"

William: "Good, good. Now… I do have to ask. Due to the time of me being knee deep within my mindscape. I never got to witness it. But is it true that Maliik blitzed me through a damn monitor screen while the other guy was in control?"

Diane and the others paused before answering. Looking at the expression William wore before answering. Diane looked at Ny'Eiir, asking "Should we tell 'em?" Ny'Eiir smiled at his sister, shaking his head whilst holding back his laughter. Tomford was of the same condition, except… he was banging his hand on the table trying his very best not to laugh.

Diane: "Listen, and I really need you- pfft. Wait, wait wait… just listen. *Snicker* Just…"

William: "Gaaah, what is it with you three heathens. Can't simply answer a God's question without going cray? Fockin' wankahs, the lot of you!"

His frustration only made them want to burst even more.

Ny'Eiir: "Listen bro…"

He paused with the most hysterical smile on his face as he stared at William with his mouth wiiide open.

William: "Well say it then, man!"

Ny'Eiir: "Pfft… he rammed your shit into floor with ease, bruv! Waaahahahhaaaaa!!"

He and the others fell to the floor in laughter.

William: "Ah… so it did happen. What a losah that corruptor is. To let me damn rival get me like that? How disappointing. Hehe…"

Diane: "That's what I'm saying! Gahaaaahihiihehe! H'what a… h'what a clown he is!"

William: "Hehehahaha…"

Ny'Eiir: "Fockin' idiot he is for that one!"

Tomford: "Mhm hm hm mhmm! (Couldn't have been me!)" *SMACK*

He slaps his knee while laughing hysterically.

William: "GeheheheHAAAhehahaha!"

Diane: "Ahe… hehaa… aahhh."

Ny'Eiir: "Woooooh, that was a solid laugh there. Needed that one, there."

Tomford: "Mhm. (For real, man.)"

William: "GehehahahaaaHAHAAA!!"

Diane: "Mhm… (that's not William's laugh.)"

Ny'Eiir: "Alright Will, big bro… it wasn't that fun-"

Diane: "That isn't William anymore, Ny'Eiir."

Tomford: "Tch!!" *Glare*

Ny'Eiir: "Oh… that means the bitch is back."

William: "Watch your mouth, lil' Ny'Eiir."

William's essence signature turned dark, being altered and interchanged for another's own essence. Leaving our man William back within that empty Mindscape of his. His eyes glared at them with an intense ray of Malice and animosity.

Diane: "What is it that you want, House of Beel membah."

William: "Ah… so you know that much now. Interesting, well your jokes about me can cease here. I have a job for you, three twits."

Diane: "Mhm… speak."

William: *Smirk* "Good, now here's the deal."

Upon meeting the real William for the first time. We find ourselves now knowing that all members of the Light Clan wish to rid it of the dark cloud Billiam has brought. With the likes of the Rebellion and Billiam going head to head, how will Diane and her siblings fare while caught in the middle. As the great Illuminated Civil War approaches!
