Chereads / STRIFE: A Life and Death Tale / Chapter 128 - 128.) What the Rebellion Protects!

Chapter 128 - 128.) What the Rebellion Protects!

On this new day, we take a step away from all the fuss and into the more protected zones of this great verse, Luminaria. The Clan had many zones(universes) within it that were highly protected by powerful individuals that are far off the radar. Dark horses that not even Billiam Beel wants to gamble with. So with that realization, the many Multiverses around the clan have moved all schools and other business-like structures to these many zones. Moving them away from the dangers of the looming civil war. That went for the likes of the children of the Royal Houses as well. Meaning the likes of Maeli, 18 years of age and her brother Mackey(17). As well as our boy Sammy(18) were subject to this as well. When missions for the Rebellion are not in effect, the children must attend to their daily responsibilities within the zones. Such as graduating from the academy and going on to do greater things, hopefully in a much safer clan by then. Surprised? Don't be, you see the likes of Morpheus and his crew fight what they've fought so this should be of no surprise.

Right now, we have some new faces to meet, the likes of other royal children tagging alongside Maeli(May•el•lee) and the others. These children belonged to the Houses of Autherien, Lyster, Murdicc, Lanthermines, Lumiairess, Azrufel, Illuma and even the House of Beel. You see, there is one grand thing this Clan did before the corruption could get this deep. They got all the children of age out of the homes and into the Zones to keep from getting involved. Some small godlings were sent as well though the infants and babies were kept at home. Which only resulted in them getting captured or worse… killed. Which is a dark cloud that all must bare, especially the Godalescents and older Godlings. Though, some did manage to avoid all that thanks to their Home's guardians. Growing and thriving in great environments, mind you… the leading Houses have gone as far as to take in children from lesser Houses within their own sectors. Such is the level of unity they have within these tough times.

Maeli: "Oi! Get a move on then. We're going to be late for the first class of the day! Mrhhm… (damn slowpokes)." *FWIP*

She dashes off into the distance, racing towards a gigantic castle within the distance. It looked like the castle of England, toting flags from every family within the clan, lesser and higher. Showing off their great unity, and let it be known that each and every business structure as well as all schools tote this same type of unity. Boasting their flags heavily as a sign that they are still putting up the good fight.

Mackey: "Yo, sis… wait up! Tch… damn. Sammy tell those yanks back there to hurry it up! I'm going up ahead." *FWIP*

Sammy: "Hmph… bullshit."

He turns around to view a slightly large group of Godalescents waltzing along behind him. He called to them to hurry it up, dashing ahead to keep up with Maeli and Mackey. The group takes heed of this and prepares to follow after them. The first to take the initiative was a young boy, he didn't look a day over fifteen years old. His hair was short and wild, with a ginger hue to it. His skin was pale, just like most of the others. While his eyes were big, wide and purple in color. He jogged ahead with a wide smile on his face, as if nothing in the omniverse could break his spirit. He carried the type of energy everyone loved to follow behind and use as an example for their acts. The boy's name… Lancelin Beel Jr.

Lancelin Jr: "Come now you tortoises. We've gotta get there!!"

He waves at the group just before continuing his take off. His all white school uniform danced in the wind. The uniforms are a style of formal attire. Full on business suits for the Gods while the Goddesses wore blazers and skirts and/or dresses. Though, truth be told… the staff could care less if a Goddess chose to dress as a God and vice versa. For all are welcome here at this Academy. the that being said, the other royal children were blasting off one after another.

???: "Lancelin and the others are always shooting off like that, let's head off Billard Jr."

Billard Jr: "Rightio, Loraina. Come on ladies and gents. We've gotta goooo!!"

Everyone dashed off into the grand school. An academy filled with many halls and corridors that were covered in the finest marble material. The halls had many Tapestries and paintings of the most achieved students as well as the staff and past principals, leading up to the current. Every classroom had an empty suit of armor in front of the door as a type of guardian. All were possessed by some kind of divine spirit. Using their abilities to mark the truant students down and stop any rule breaking that may persist. There were more than 10 training grounds with small pocket dimension properties littered throughout the grounds. While at least four different cafeterias were installed for the ginormous student body the academy had within. Such was the fine structure and capabilities of the academy known as, Xeno Luminous Academy. Named after their great founder that created their Clan.

Currently we find ourselves following behind Maeli and Sammy. They share a first period class with Billard Jr, who was a senior student just like the two of them. But it wasn't just these three, funny enough, Lancelin's slightly older uncle was here as well. Lancelot Murdicc, named after his father and the adopted child of Xeno, Lancelot Beel-Senkozen. Yes, this not only confirms that Billiam's commander, Lancelin is a son of Lancelot. But also the brother to Maliik and the others. Making it five brothers in total amongst the children of Queen Nagita and her husband, Lancelot. Lancelot II was a long time rival for Maeli and Sammy, so it made for the relationship seeing as their parents work together to liberate the clan. All four entered their first period which was Clan History IV. A class taught by quite the surprising goddess. She was known as…

Maeli: "Morning Madame Hera'lou!"

Sammy: "Yo, Madame Hera'lou… how's it going?"

He waves at her with a bright smile, blushing all the while.

Billard II and Lancelot waltzed in behind them. Waving at their teacher rather quickly whilst blushing as well. For some odd reason, most of the students were of the same manner when entering. Even most of the young Goddesses as well. Though… I guess it should be seen as no surprise. Madame Hera'lou was a near twin to her mother. Not only that, but her eyes were slightly bigger and reflected the blue tinge of the Astral Star that the Clan holds near and dear. This was due to her father being the creator of this very star. A Co-creator to the clan as his twin brother was the Co-creator to the Dark Clan. They were known as the Dawn and Dusk shields to Xeno herself. Two warriors on the level of people like Xebeel and those who hunt what lies beyond.

But anyways, Hera'lou had blonde locs that curled into three gigantic coils going down her back. Her bangs hung down to her jaw line before coiling up at the ends. Dancing about as they flowed with the slight wind she created with her essence. She always wears a type of blazer with a long tail end to it. Women's dress pants that show off her figure to go along with it and a nice pair of heels. Today she chose to wear a white, turtle-neck style crop top that left her belly exposed. Allowing all to see her belly button ring, which was a hang emblem in the shape of a jeweled junk hammer. A token to her mother and a sign of great respect for her work.

Hera'lou: "Greetings to you all and welcome back to another glorious day of History class. Good Mornin' y'all!"

Class: "Good Mornin' to you, Madame Hera'lou."

Sammy: (Man, I just love it when her fine ass switches up thw accent. Sounding just like Lady Hera'May at the end there.) *Smirk*

Hera'lou: (I heard that Sammy.) *Grin*

Sammy: "Oh…"

Hera'lou: *Wink* "Hmph… now then class, today's subject will be based around the founding of our Hierarchy system. So get your books ready and let's get this rodeo goin'!"

Class: "YES MA'AM!!"

Hera'lou got her class underway, at the same time a few other classes were being started as well. One could see many of the students from the group that Mackey and the others traveled to school with. Mackey himself being with two other royals as they pull out their journals. Preparing to take notes for their Uses of Light course. Alongside them were many other students including that of an exchange student. One who came from their sister Clan, Devojinns… the dark clan. She was a prodigy amongst prodigies and a powerful Godalescent. She, Mackey, Ellie Lyster, a young Goddess from the same house as Sammy. And then you have their longtime buddy and comrade, Drake Illuma. He was the nephew of Doc-Martin and Lizellite Illuma. They did not have children of age just yet, they currently have two beautiful, twin baby girls.

As of now, class had taken to its course on mass Illumination with their abilities of light. Giving better meaning to the beings who light up all who come their way. Their instructor was actually deemed the second best user of light, right behind that of Maliik. His name was Shaddus Aurora. A powerful light Clan member with many, many connections around the clan.

Mackey: "I've been waiting to learn more about our light powers and how to use them. Expanding our field of illumination is definitely a great start to that."

Drake: "No kiddin' there, mate! I'm more than ready to increase my proficiency with my light prowess!"

Drake was a pale skinned man, same as anyone else who reigned from the light clan. His hair was completely black and slick back, leaving one loose bang that flowed upon his forehead. His eyes were Emerald green and sharp while his nose and lips were on the smaller side. He stood at five foot ten when standing.

Ellie: "Diddo! I can't wait to beat you two to the punch when it comes to fully mastering our light abilities. After all… I was the first to master their element out of de three of us."

Ellie was an eccentric young Goddess. Rapidly maturing as she goes in spirit, mind and body. She was one who preferred to keep her brunette hair neat and in a ponytail until some excitement arrived. She wore a pair of metallic glasses with a thin, prescribed lens. Her eyes were wide and golden, sporting naturally long eyelashes that gave even higher value to her beauty. With a small nose and slightly big full lips. Her innocent act and smile make most melt in her hands.

Shaddus: "Well, well… great to hear such inspiring words from three of my top students. I hope you all catch on well, because just like all else in this clan. We'll be moving at light speeds to accomplish what this curriculum entails!"

Mackey: "Oh good word there, sir. We'll conquer it all, no problem!"

He smiled as he looked towards his two mates.

Ellie: "Darn right! I'm pip to that scenario!"

Drake: "Rightio then, Sir Shaddus. Let's get started!"

He raises his fist to match up with Ellie and Mackey. All three forming fists with their essence to perform a fist bump. A fourth fist comes along to surprise all three. A fist that was the polar opposite of their whitened fists of Light. For it was a blackened fist of Darkness.

Mackey: "Woah… you're actually interacting with us?"

Class: "Woaaaaah!"

Classmate 1: "Hey… that's the prodigy!"

Classmate 2: "About damn time!"

???: "Hehe, apologies for my rudeness until now. Just an introvert that doesn't know how to express herself just yet."

Her innocent smile beat even Ellie's out. Causing our girl to blush along with everyone else. For they have peered onto a pure soul that once seemed like they were more on the mean side… crude and rude even. Her long bang that covered half her face was moved a bit as she placed her hand on her cheek. Her eyes were a violet purple in color, quite big in size too. The long eyelashes only added to their beauty while her thick eyebrows complimented them perfectly. They sparkled more than any light member present, which was odd for a Dark Clansmen. Her skin was pale and pearly like her cousin clan members of the Light. She liked to wear her hair down in its natural state, curly and black in color. Her nose was rather small while her lips were full, just not all that big. Her cheeks were always red as if she could never stop blushing.

Shaddus: "Hmph, good to see everyone in such high spirits. I look forward to ALL of your results in herre!!! Hahahahaa!"

The class laughed and cheered with Sir Shaddus. Moving on from them, we skip beyond a few hours on this glorious day and arrive at lunch period. Which was actually at the end of their school day. And surprisingly enough, though that is the case. No one actually goes home before sitting down and hanging out with their friends in a time full of nothing but freedom. We see the royals taking to their table alongside many other students that sit and surround them. Everyone enjoys their time as they talk amongst one another.

Lancelin: "Yo uncle Lance… how have things been with your older brothers?"

Lancelot: *Munch* *munch* "Mhm… I gotta say, every-nying's been preddy dyam good. *Gulp* Ah. They've all been developing their powers quite well and I've heard of nothing but great success from their efforts in the Rebellion. Though… they can't really hide the hiccups well."

Lancelin: "Ah, that's good to hear, unc. Hope they're able to keep it up."

Maeli: "Oh trust me, they will for sure!"

???: "Hmph, I hope they do. We don't need any further corruption out here. Hehe, know what I'm shayin'?"

A young man with ginger, short, shaggy style hair sat across from Maeli. He wore sunglasses over his eyes to hide his special power. As he cannot control this ability just yet. He liked to wear his blazer in an unbuttoned fashion. Leaving it open to give him maximum comfortability in whatever he does while wearing his uniform. He had freckles on his face with a nose and lips that were on the smaller side.

Maeli: "You're not lying there Luke."

Luke: "Of course not, a Dazzle does not lie."

Mackey: "I mean… he speaks actual factuals here, mates."

Sammy: "Indeed, but I do have to back Maeli over here. I do believe the efforts of the Rebellion will speak for itself in due time. Just a few more loose ends to tie up here, pip, perk and perfect."

Lancelin: "Ah, well that's great news to hear! Can't wait for all this corruption business to be over with. The person behind all this mess deserves something far worse than death!"

Billard: "You got that right! Speaking truth into reality over here!"

Lancelot: "Eh… don't hype my nephew up.with such nonsense Billard. He may be speaking the truth, but it's far from reality for now." *Sip*

Ellie: "A tad bit harsh on the reality check, but it's true."

Lancelin: "Yeah… I guess so, but our efforts won't go to waste regardless of that factor. Or at least… I hope not. At the end of the day… I just want our home back."

Mackey: "Mhm."

He looks over at Maeli with a solemn look on his face.

Sammy: "Yeah… that would be nice."

He also joins in on wearing a solemn look on his face as well.

All three of them stare at one another with the dreadful aura to their presence. It was one that bled truth into the scenario they were experiencing. The truth that one of Lancelin's own brethren was a culprit in this entire fiasco. A truth that must not be revealed unless they wish to bring ruin to Lancelin's image. As well as his way of life within the clan. But now wasn't the time to dwell on such things. For it was time for everyone to head off into the Business districts and truly enjoy themselves.

Luke: "Well, I don't know about you all. But this type of talk really brings me down. So I say we go enjoy ourselves around the districts and see some fun shtuff!"

Maeli: "Hm- (Ah damn, leave it to our good pal Luke to break any tension present.) I'd say that's a good idea. Everyone else on board for it?"

Everyone: "YEAAAAAH!!!"

The gang comes together to go on a trip to the districts for a little chill time and fun. They leave the school grounds and head off into a nearby line of gateways leading directly to different safe havens within these peaceful sectors and regions. Today, they leapt head first into the gateway that leads directly to the Districts. Springing our young Gods and Goddesses into the hustle and bustle of the great Shopping Districts. A huge universe dedicated to nothing but shopping and the main benefits of the retail world. Towers upon towers that acted as massive malls. One should note that most of these towers are comprised of whole solar systems. Stacking the many stars and planets together as they fuse their matter to make entirely new constructs. Forming these magnificent towers that the children see before them.

Mackey: "This is what I'm talking about! Fock yeaaaa! Oh…"

He turned to face the group.

Sammy: "What's up bruv?"

Maeli: "Mackey?"

Mackey: "We should all hurry… I forgot we'll all be receiving our first missions soon."

His blank stare spread lime a wild fire amongst the group. Everyone went blank before realizing their situation.

Lancelin: "Holy… FOCK! He's right, mates!"

Loraina: "R-Right he is, we should definitely go!"

Everyone went into a frenzy about their time being cut short. So with that being the case, they split up entirely and took care of their separate shopping. Gathering clothes, games, food, accessories and even collectibles they could enjoy for themselves and with others. Wearing faces of pure joy as they even go about riding a few of the rides found on different Carnival and Park based planets. Having a blast even though they were technically in what we'd call, "a rush". Truly getting a look at a version of their home they all missed. A version they wished would return to every part of the clan. So that they may all visit one another once more. Laughing and smiling all the while as their families enjoy the company of one another. For them… it was a goal to be reached at any cost. Such was the purpose of this mission, to further prove that they CAN make a difference.

Luke: "Yo… we know what we have to do this weekend when this mission goes live." *Inhale*

Mackey: "Definitely, mate. We'll make sure to meet what's expected of us and go even further beyond."

Lancelin: "Hm… *Pat* Huh?"

He turns to his right.

Lancelot: "We got this!"

Ellie: "Damn right we do!" *Grasp*

She jumped on their backs for a group hug.

Sammy: "Heh… yeah. We'll prove our worth further and get into the ranks of the Rebellion. Even beyond what my sisters and your parents allow!"

Luke: "Hmph… then we'll run our plans as before. With our team centered around Susanne over there!"

Maeli: (Susanne, eh? Perfect… she is the only one that's ever beaten me before.) "I'm all for it."

Susanne: "Then we move at the start of our mission. Let's just get past the next few days of school first."

Everyone: "Right!"

They all sat to watch as the everlasting light at the center of the universe dims itself. It was to replicate a night and day cycle so that the businesses within are able to get a break and close down for a few. Such a finely tuned piece of work and construct, along with these kids and their families. Yes… this here is what the Rebellion fights to protect in its wake. In its storm to destroy the corruption found all over. And they'll make sure to protect what has been treasured and to return to the ways that are slowly being lost. Beel can only hope to stop them as they can only hope to stop him. Such is the game they all play in this chest match of the ages.

The kids of the Light Clan are on the scene as of now. Making their way through school as the Clan around them crumbles from within. In their quest to live their lives even amongst such peril. They gain the courage to stand with their brethren in the good fight. To protect those that protect them in this great Clan crashing towards Civil War!!!
