"Don't make a scene" Joaquin wiped the small blood on his lips with his thumb as Liam still held strongly at his collar
"You're following me now!" Liam growled at him
"I'm not intending on following you, you should calm down" He looked indifferently at the angered man before him and took both of his hands to pull them off of him
One of the security were about to intervene but Joaquin motioned him not to
Liam took a deep breath to calm himself before stepping back
It was fortunate that there were not many people on the private parking lot.
Winter looked at Joaquin's features which were well-known to her but he seemed very different since he had matured a lot. He was taller than Liam and was well build, no woman would resist such a charismatic man but the only nuance is his cold attitude

"You little bastard, what's gotten into you, why did you fucking left your family for those damn Luccheses" Liam spat out

"Ha Mateo is here too? Tell him to come here now" Liam authoritatively ordered the assistant who was feeling overwhelmed by the tense atmosphere
"No need, go and tell him i'm coming" Joaqin calmly said

Liam frowned deeply "I'm coming inside with you"
"Do as you wish" He lazily walked passed him

Three handsome men were sited on one of the table. The restaurant was grand, that's why it was not easy to see every customers going in and out
"How are you big brother?" Mateo who was amused by the later's usual bad temperament tried to ease the mood
"Are you seriously asking that?"
"You never change, still so ill tempered. You should relax more"
Liam glared at his annoying brother. He was irritating as fuck since he had the shittiest personality in the family.
"Tell me what you two are up to" he demanded
"Why so serious. When was the last time we gathered like this between brothers?" Mateo pretends to ponder on the matter
A waitress approached the table to receive the orders
"Welcome to Ever restaurant, did you decide on what to order?" She timidly asked the handsome men
Mateo was checking out the beautiful woman
"What do you suggest darling?" He seductivily asked
The waitress blushed at him "mm this should be to your tastes" she gently pointed one of the many dishes as she leans forward to show her cleavage
"I'm trusting on you then" he looked at her with a smirk
Liam rolled his eyes at what was occuring in front of him. He flatly said to her "I won't order anything"
The waitress then turned to Joaquin and he just ordered a coffee. Mateo looked at her behind as she walked away
"Liam, you're just wasting your time. I won't return home, not for now" Joaquin stated
"Give me the reason" He leaned on the table "Why did you left?"
"I'm just making my own path like you. Why? it will be unfair if you're the only one free of your choice" he looked straight at him as he went on saying "Are you frustrated because you're traped on the big responsbility i left behind?" He taunted
Liam was taken aback by what went out of his youngest brother.
Seeing that he was silent Mateo intervened "That family just see us as puppets Liam, that old man must be feeling distressed now. I'll be happy to return there just to see that" he chuckled
Liam wanted to say something but decided against it. He stood up and walked away without saying anything
"You're good at making people speechless" Mateo commented amusedely
Joaquin just silently looked at his eldest brother's back and when he was finally out of sight, he motioned to Ethan who was siting on a table nearby to approach "Give me information about the girl who accompanied him here"
Ethan wanted to ask why but didn't want to be seen as overly curious, he just immediately left to complete the task
"Which girl are you talking about?" Mateo questioned "I didn't see any girl, is he cheating on his wife now?"
"I thought i saw someone familiar, i'm just checking" he responded unconcerned
In the parking lot
Winter was waiting beside the car, she was getting cold waiting for so long. 25 minutes since Liam followed Joaquin back inside and she was losing her last bit of patience. After a while, she spotted a girl her age walking out of another car
"Jane" she called
the girl turned to see the one calling her and when she saw her, her eyes lit up "Winter, you're already back? i thought you wouldn't come back until a month" she excitedly ran to her friend
"Well, there was a change of plan what are you doing here?"
"Oh the chef here is an acquaintance of my dad so actually i'm here to see his son. You should see him, he is so hot"
"What's the pry's name this time?" Winter slightly raised her eyebrows at her
"You talk like i'm some predator" she pouted "Daniel" she whispered
"a D, that is indeed not on the list yet"
"Don't make fun of me. You should worry about your love life instead, you always make boys run away" she retorted
Winter just smiled meaningfuly at her
"By the way what are you doing standing here, it's so cold out here" she shuddered a little
"I'm waiting for Liam, i don't know what's taking him so long there. I bet he is not even remembering that i'm still here waiting for him"
"Your suffering ends here" Jane looked behind her
Liam walked towards them but without the anger on his face as before
"What took you so long" Winter crossed her arms
"Sorry" and when he saw the other girl who he recognized to be his sister's friend he greeted her
"Well i gotta go now, let's talk on the phone this evening" Jane said to Winter and waved them goodbye
"You even forgot that i was here as well right?" Winter asked him
"You were the one who disappeared"
"I didn't want to embarass myself because of your friendly encounter with your brother" she said sarcastically
Liam took his keys and went inside the car, Winter followed
"You seem dejected, what happened in there" She furrowed her eyebrows seeing her brother being silent
"Nothing for you to worry" buckle your seat belt
"It's not like i care anyway" she do as she was said
The car left the place

"How did your mission go?" Joaquin asked
"My crew is the most qualified for it. Of course it went well" Mateo responded as he ate the dish in front of him

"The authorities are becoming more and more troublesome though, I think we need to be more cateful"
"They won't do anything even if they discover something"

Joaquin returned to his flat in Gold Coast. he took a shower and after that turned on the TV to make the house less quiet
His phone suddenly went off "Mm" he responded
"I finished the task" Ethan's voice sounded through the phone. There was a pause before he said "The girl you were asking about is actually your adoptive sister Winter Wheelers"
There was a long silence before he said
"I see" Joaquin pondered for a well before saying "Is that all?"
"Oh, i will send you all the other information"
Joaquin hung up and put his phone back on the kitchen's counter.
He pulled out a drink from the fridge and after waiting for a while a message was sent.
