"well then shall we get started" the old man says, i plan on keeping quiet at first so i can analyze the other ambassadors.
"well since we have a new addition how about we see what mikkus solution to this is" a middle aged man sitting across from me says smugly.
"well of course um... amd your name is" i say matching his smugness
"im Ryo of the sand village" he seems easy to anger, that could be an issue but i can also use that to my advantage if i can figure out what makes him tick.
"well ryo if you would really like to know my solution i suggest the villages work together to rebuild the mist village, it will help to mend the bond thats been severed between the villages" of course this isnt actually my solution but i need to see how each of the ambassadors react, but first im focusing on ryo.
"thats an interesting idea mikku, but what happens if the villages refuse"
"simple, we bribe them" ryo has kept a calm composure this entire time but i notice something, when i mentioned bribing the civilians ryos right eye twitched slightly. it might be nothing but i choose to push further.
"we cant just bribe the civilians and expect them to take it, what would we even bribe them with"
"we could try bribing them with more food and water, well that may work only for the sand village, lord hokage has informed me that the sand is struggling in that department" when i mention the sands struggle ryos eye twitches again, hes nervous. the room is silent
"well ryo what do you think? did the reikage not tell you about the sands struggle or did you not think anyone else knew?" his eye twitches "ah i get it, the sand village doesn't want to show its weakness but ive just exposed it" the truth is hashirama never told me anything about the sand, i made that up on the spot, if ryos eye hadnt twitched i would have made something else up, it was a lucky guess that i got it right first try. i took a gamble and it paid off, this explains how tensions raised so high in the first place, without steady food or water its no wonder things have been so rough. ryo is speechless along with the rest of the council, the atmosphere in the room is tense now, i have to naturally work my way up to my real solution and then manipulate the rest of the council into going for it.
"well then what do you think" i stare down the ambassador sitting next to me. he looks about the same age as ryo and is wearing a rain village headband. he looks nervous, im in control of this meeting, ive started a battle of the mind.
