'But not everyone can study there.'
The "Academy" is a place in shared custody by all nations, located in the middle of the world, in an area called the "Neutral Zone".
The terrain surrounding the 'Academy' has been an independent zone since the fall of the "Great Empire" that had conquered most of the world. All existing nations joined hands and struggled to overthrow and retake the land from the Great Empire. After numerous skirmishes, the Alliance was able to overtake the Great Empire before disbanding.
In honour of their alliance and their joint struggle, the royal capital of the Great Empire was named "Neutral Zone". All the countries then pooled money and built an "Academy", a place where royalty and higher ranks could study.
At least that's what the history books say, no one knows the truth. As they say "Whoever wins the war becomes justice!".
Only descendants of high nobles can take classes there because it costs a lot of money. However, on rare occasions when excellent talent emerges, the academy offers free tuition and depending on the individual's talent, more privileges can be obtained.
'Now I have only two options: get the support of my family or increase my ability to impress the dean of the academy.'
A fierce grin appeared on my face as I thought about my two options.
'Why choose one when I can have both?'
Using my knowledge from the game, I can get the support of my family easily. In addition, I know secret methods that help me strengthen more effectively than conventional means, and it is also less time-consuming.
'I should start by choosing my weapon'
In the game, the player can choose the weapon he likes, but the effectiveness of each weapon is different. I played with all kinds of weapons countless times because I wanted to experience the difference. One thing I noticed is that sword techniques take less time to learn than other weapons, at the same time they are stronger and easier to use in battles.
'The only remaining problem is how to find the right teacher.'
The Alexander family is a spearman family, I don't think anyone here can help me with my sword training.
'Well, I can study more efficiently alone anyway, plus since the previous owner of the body used to be lazy, my schedule should be pretty flexible. I can use that time to train.'
*Yawn*
After four hours of non-stop studying, I felt a little sleepy and let out an exhausted sigh. As I stretched out and relaxed my muscles, a piece of paper suddenly slipped out of one of the books.
I stretched my hands and carefully picked up the note.
[Power Level Required to Study in the 'Academy' ]
'Come to think of it, paying is not sufficient to gain entry to the academy. The 'Academy's' rules specify a minimum power level.'
[
The bare minimum for admission to the academy is Origin 2.
There will be additional advantages, such as free access to the training grounds and library, for students in Origin 3.
Since Origin 4 is difficult for students under the age of 18 to achieve, the teacher will focus more on such students' growth.
]
According to the book I read, a person can begin cultivating at the age of 10, when their body is sufficiently developed to begin mana training, that's Origin 0. After that, one's growth rate is influenced by how much time and effort one devotes to their cultivation.
Origin 0s typically reach Origin 1 in one to two years. Since the entrance ceremony occurs when individuals turn 19 years old, achieving Origin 2 before the start of school shouldn't be too difficult because each breakthrough takes approximately 4 years after the first breakthrough.
However, a person's fighting skills, experience, and battle IQ determine the outcome of battles, not the individual's Origin Level. The amount of mana an individual possesses in their body and the amount of mana they are able to release at once are reflected in their Origin Level. 90% of the time, Origin 2 would win a fight against Origin 1.
'I cannot begin cultivation at the moment, but I should strengthen my muscles and learn basic sword techniques, which will help build my foundation.'
*Growl*
As I lost myself in my thoughts, my stomach started complaining about the lack of nutrients I'm providing him with.
'I should get something to eat, but what kind of food is there in this world?'
