" You mean old man!!!!" With a surprised and shocked face, Hans asked Tom.
"Yes...that's the answer," Tom said again in an insulting tone.
' No….no way…..how come….why does the city lord have to do that???" Hans asked Tom in disbelief.
He still stubbornly couldn't imagine that the city lord would sneakily do something like that to them.
But the more he pondered about it, the more he realized that what Tom said had a big possibility.
So here he becomes afraid and confused, thinking that his future and that of his friends must end tragically like Tom.
Or you could say worse than Tom, because Tom is obviously alive while everyone else is dead so in this case he and the others might not be as lucky as Tom.
"Why are you hysterical like that???" Don't think too much, calm yourself and you will see the answer" feeling enough sympathy Tom comforted Hans.
