JESSICA'S POV
Santi had left a couple of minutes ago and I had a plan in mind, but I also know they won't let me do it, so I must manage so they wouldn't realize where we were going until we arrived. Jackson would go with us, and I know he wouldn't say no to anything, or at least I could convince him that's what he should do. If I was clear about one thing, it's I wasn't going to let that girl tell lies. I would talk to her and do whatever is necessary.
"Well Jess, we're going to buy clothes. It will be a girls' afternoon you won't be able to forget." Carla said with a big smile on her face. "I should be scared, but first I need to go somewhere." I said, "We'll accompany you." My sister quickly responded, "I can go alone, but if you want…"
"We're not going to let you go alone with all the trouble you got with the interview, and you will explain to me why you did it." Carla said, "Those are my things that don't concern you, and if that's what worries you, Jackson will come with me." I assured, "I'm glad Jackson is going with you, but I don't want you to shy away like last time we went shopping."
"I won't shy away, but if you want to come, come." I said, shrugging my shoulders "We will go, now can you tell me where we'll go?" Carla asked and I denied, "Well, you'll be left wanting to know." I reported with a smile on my face "Come on Jessica, don't be like that." My sister supported my best friend, "You're the one who wanted to come, you can stay, and we'll meet later wherever you want."
"I just don't trust you, that's why we're going with you." Carla said, "Perfect, let me go look for Jackson." I left the house to meet Jackson at the door. It's not he couldn't enter the house, but apparently, he didn't want to come in the house so as not to bother us, although it's not we had any problem with that, we saw him more as a friend than as a bodyguard, but he insisted, so I didn't mind. I was going to insist for the moment.
"Jessica, are we go out?" Jackson asked. "Yes, but before we go to the mall, we will go somewhere else." I reported "Where to?" He asked curiously, "I need to go to the record company where Santi worked." I said "And why do you want to go there? You shouldn't get into any more trouble today." He answered and I couldn't help but laugh "And I'm not going to do it, I just have to talk to someone."
"I suppose you want to talk to Alison." My bodyguard said, "You guess right." I answered honestly, "I think you shouldn't go, that girl hates you from what I've heard." He informed and I shrugged "I don't care, I just have to talk to her, nothing more." I assured, "I will take you, but if I see the girl wants to attack you or you want to attack her, I'll take you out of there."
"Perfect, now don't tell them." I asked, looking in the direction where both my sister and my best friend were coming, "Will they come with us?" He asked, frowning, "They don't trust me to go to the mall later, apparently at some point I managed to escape somehow."
"We did it, and I thanked you a lot for that." He said with a small smile on his face "So you don't like shopping either huh Jackson." Carla said with a smile on her face, "Don't get me wrong, Miss Bastianini, but going shopping with you is a lot of work, and it takes a long time, you walk through all the stores in your path. "The man admitted, "I'm clear you don't like me as a boss..."
"It's not you're a good boss, but the one who ends up loaded is always me." He protested, "I understand that you prefer Jessica, she hates shopping." He responded with a laugh, "I don't hate shopping." I said with a frown, "Are you telling me since you lost your memory you like to go shopping?" asked both girls. "As long as I remember, I like to go shopping."
"Then we will have a good time dear, and it will be the best afternoon of your life. Well, rather, it will be a great day." My best friend said excitedly, "It is, now we can go because I have more things to do."
With that we all went to the car, me in the front and them in the back. While my sister and Carla were talking about, I don't know what, I was thinking about what to say to Alison. I wasn't going to allow anyone to say things about the people I loved that's more than clear to me.
"Wait, why are we going this way, Jess?" Carla asked, peeking between the seats. "I told you I have to resolve some issues before going shopping." I said without taking my eyes off the road, "Do you know what's around here?" She asked suspiciously. "No, it's Jackson who's taking us." I said sincerely, "And I know Jackson knows where the mall is, and I know he knows it isn't this way, so I hope that because of these years you worked with me, you tell me what we're doing here, Jackson."
"Jessica wants to go somewhere, and I can't say no." He responded, shrugging his shoulders. "But you're not her driver." Carla noted, "I don't need a driver, he's helping me get to a place I need to go, that's all."
Just at that moment we stopped in front of a building that Carla was looking at with a surprised face, and my sister with a look of not understanding anything, so I guess she wasn't here. There were a couple of journalists, but Jackson made sure they didn't get to us and as soon as we entered the building, Carla makes me stop and look at her.
"Can we know what we are doing here?" She asked, crossing her arms. "I told you I had to solve some things before going shopping." I repeated "And why do we come here? I just hope it's not what I'm thinking, please, I'm asking you." She asked and I shrugged "I don't know what you're thinking, but I'm almost sure that's it."
"Do you want to kill Alison?" She asked letting out a sigh "I don't want to kill her; I want to talk to her. It won't take me more than two minutes." I assured, "This girl hates you and will want to kill before you can talk to her." Carla protested, "Jackson will come in with me and won't let anything happen to me."
"What if you are the one who wants to kill her?" my sister asked, "That won't happen, I know it isn't true what she tells about her and Santi, so there is nothing to worry about." I insisted, "As your sister, I know it's not normal for you to want to talk to yourself. You are too impulsive." Sofia pointed out and I rolled my eyes "Well for your information, that's what I'm going to do, so stop worrying about it. "It won't take long, I promise."
"You better, because if not, I'll drag you out of here myself." My best friend assured, "It won't be necessary, I'll come now." I said, "I'll take you; I have a slight idea of where it might be so you can walk around the building without any problem." We started to go towards some place I had no idea about, but soon we stopped in front of a door, she just walked in.
"Who is ...? Oh, I thought you were already fired." The girl said with a big smile on her face, "They're not going to fire me so easily, but believe me, if I had a choice, I would leave without hesitation." My best friend assured that viper, "That's because you know I'll end up being better than you."
"In your dreams, dear, it's more like I'm leaving because I don't want to see you ruin my best friend's life for a lie that's not worth it. He's madly in love with Jessica, and you won't be able to avoid that in your wildest dreams." My sister said with a snort at the end, "My pregnancy doesn't mean the same thing, I'm sure that bitch was faking her death all this time to get more fame."
"FYI, you fucking tadpole, I don't like fame. If I came out it's because I'm not going to let you tell a lie like that, because come on, we all know it's a lie." I said, coming out from behind Carla and my sister. "Oh, the liar came with you." She said laughing "There is two of us then." I responded with a shrug and a smile on my face.
"My thing is true, the one who's lying here, is you. Santi wasn't with you at the time you said, more than anything because you left his side to live life without him, you're the same bitch you were in high school." She answered this with a smile on her face "Think what you want, I know what I say is true." I said, "And do you really think the press will believe everything you said?
"I don't care about the press, Santi and the people I love know it, and that's the most important thing." I admitted with the smile still on my face "Fame is everything and I know you'll do whatever it takes to get it." She insisted "Fame is shit, and I swear I preferred to be the girl who was living in Los Angeles without anyone knowing her, I was calmer."
"Living the life of a slut you would surely be great." She said, laughing, "Think what you want, I only came to tell you to leave MY BOYFRIEND alone, because he doesn't want you around, and you can forget about the news you're pregnant with him, because that's not true." I responded calmly "You know Santi will leave you for our love and our child."
"I know Santi would be a great father to that child, but I think the father would really like to act as his father, or if there's a child…" I hinted. "Are you calling me a liar?" Alison asked with her anger increasing "No... Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just telling you what it could be." I responded with little interest in the topic, "You'll see that, bitch."
"As you wish, I'll be waiting, at least to meet your child." I said with a big smile on my face "You'll see…" With that I left there and headed towards the entrance of the building with the three of them behind me. Honestly, I don't know what they thought I was going to do, I just wanted to talk to her, nothing more. We left the building and ran into some reporters, but Jackson took it upon himself to keep them from getting too close to us and we got in the car to head to the mall.
"I thought you were going to kill her because of what she said about Santi." Carla said in a surprised tone. "I don't know why I should." I responded, "Maybe because she's saying things about Santi that aren't true?" my sister asked, "But I know they're not true, I still don't understand the point you thought I was going to kill her or something like that."
"You just don't have the slightest idea of what you were like before." My sister murmured, "A bitch who went around hitting everyone? Because I get the feeling that's what everyone thinks." I responded, "That's not true, you may have gotten into a fight at some point, but that doesn't mean you were hitting everyone, much less that you were a bitch."
"Well, I don't care what they think of me. Now we better go to the mall before Santi gets home." I said, "It will take a while to arrive, so don't worry about it. Also, I assure you we're going to be there for a while, we must find you the perfect dress." My best friend reported, "Is it going to be necessary?" I protested, "Of course, it's not every day you go on a date with such a wonderful guy."
"Are you going to tell me something I don't know?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "As much as I want to tell you, I can't, it's a surprise." Now I really wasn't understanding anything. What surprise were you talking about? I could see how Sofia looked at her with a threatening look which makes me assume they are hiding something from me I don't have to know about.
"What are you talking about Carla?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Like I told you, I can't say." She responded looking away "Come on... I'm your friend..." I said with a smile on my face "Don't give me that face, because with it, you will be able to convince Santi, but not me." She protested "Oh, yeah? And what does that little mouth of yours need to tell me?" I asked "Jess, don't tempt me."
"I'm just telling you I'll get you whatever you want." I assured even though I must have thought later how I would do it "Whatever I want?" Carla asked looking at me "Whatever you want." I assured, "Carla, don't even think about it…" said my sister next to her, "I want to meet Harry."
"Okay, just tell me who he is and what he looks like, and I'll make you meet him." I said, "That's going to be complicated because he's famous." She reported with a big smile on her face "Oh yeah? I don't know any Harry." I said, frowning, "Harry Styles, dear."
"The name sounds familiar to me. I think I've heard it at some point." I admitted "Jessica?" At that moment I turn to see who the person was who's calling me, but I didn't see anyone who might know me, but I did see four girls standing looking at me, I could tell one of them is crying. I must say I was paralyzed, because as far as I knew they were in England. I'm a big fan of the girls, I always liked them, at least as long as I can remember.
"So, what they said was true, you are alive?" said one of the girls. "We thought it's someone trying to impersonate you, but it seems that's not true." And just at that moment, the four of them came to hug me. I'm not understanding anything, I'm happy because my idols were hugging me, but it's still weird, because apparently, they knew me, and I don't have the slightest idea why or how.
"Girls, I think you should take it easy." Carla said close to me "Why should we take it easy? You didn't even call us to tell us she's alive, Carla." Jessica Nelson protested, "I forgot." My best friend responded, shrugging her shoulders, "Did you forget? You forgot it? I remind you we also had a bad time."
"Yes, I'm sorry, it's all very sudden and there are many things you should know before overwhelming her like you are doing right now." Carla said with a smile on my face "What?" At that point they turned away from me and stared at me, and clearly, I still didn't believe it. I had Little Mix right under my nose. I must be dreaming, because this couldn't be real.
"Why is this moment reminding me of the moment we met her the first time?" Jade asked with a confused face and Carla put one of her hands on my arm. "Jess, do you know who they are?" she asked "As if I didn't know, but... but..." I started "How come they seem to know you?" Carla asked, "Come on, you're going to tell us you forgot about us so easily. I should feel hurt by your words Leone."
"Jessica!!!!" exclaimed Leigh-Anne "What? It's true, we're all thinking about it." She said, "Do you think we go to a more private place and explain it to you? You start to attract the attention of people in the mall." My sister said looking around us.
"Okay, but you better explain to us what the hell is going on here, Bastianini, and why she doesn't seem to remember us." Jesy said pointing at her "Well Jess, our shopping will have to wait a little, we're going home." Carla said, "We follow you." Perrie said quickly and with that they took me towards the exit of the shopping centre and got in the car to go home.
"I think meeting them affected her more this time than the last time." My sister laughed. "What are you talking about?" I asked with a frown. "I remember the day Carla told us how you reacted when you met them years ago, and I can assure you it's nothing like what I saw."
"Are you telling me I know them?" I asked without being able to believe it. "You were friends, well, you are, and sometimes you did some work with them. "They basically wanted you as their photographer." My best friend reported "Shit, really? Why, among so many things, did I have to forget about that too? I just made a fool of myself." I protested, "Don't worry, we'll explain what's happening and they'll understand."
"I couldn't believe I knew them." I murmured, "You said something similar the day you met them. Now, take things calmly, remember what the doctor told you." My best friend said, "I know." I said, rolling my eyes, "Will we ever find out what the hell is happening to you? Because it's starting to annoy me a little everyone knows about it except us."
"I'll tell it the moment I consider it, so let's not complain." I said, "I'll stop complaining the moment you tell me what's going on." My sister responded, "We'll see." I muttered, "Don't start arguing, and Sofia, if Jessica tells you she'll tell you, she will. Give her time, it's not going to go anywhere."
"She better, because then I'll never forgive her." My sister responded seriously, "Now we better focus on letting the girls find out what happened, and I think you should tell that, Jessica." My best friend said, "No, you know the story as much as I do." I responded, "Are you sure?" asked my best friend, "Sure, I hate talking about it and you can be sure I won't talk about it in my life."
"Well, you will have a bit of a big problem because that's what all the press is going to ask you the moment, they find you." Carla said, "And I won't tell them shit." I assured, "They will end up finding out what happened, or else they will make up a story." My best friend reported, "I don't care what they do, the truth always ends up coming out, and this time is no different." I said, shrugging my shoulders, "I hope what you say is true, I just want you to be prepared for what may appear in the press."
