As the battle continued their armor was torn through like paper. The lion opens it's mouth ready to eat one of the warriors, but Kenchi pushed him away and sliced its tongue off. It instantly regenerated and released a discharge through the air, stunning everyone.

The lion walks towards him and prepares to eat him. His bones began to crack from the strain of blood bulk.

As the lion's jaws lingered over him, a villager came out of hiding and threw a rock at it. His death was postponed and it went after the villager.

As he looked back at the boy he disappeared.

A loud cracking sound was quickly followed by a hand through Subaru's chest.

Kenchi's body stiffened as all he could do was watch.

He forced his body to move. He positioned his feet and dash toward the humanoid monster. He tightened his grip and brought the sword down on his arm. As the sword penetrated his skin, it became coated in Kenchi's blood.
He pulls away and attempts to regenerate but it's taking a lot longer than usual.
Damn it is his blood poison or something, I can't keep my eyes open.
He blackouts next to Subaru.
Ugh, I need to rest.
Kenchi drops his sword and collapsed. As he clutched his chest he drifted to sleep.
