The paper shines blue and splits in two. One of the pieces wraps around Kenchi's wrist and the other piece warps around Vellion's neck like a collar.

Vellion pulls at the collar but has no luck breaking it off.

He follows the villager to the middle of the village. As they arrive a sweet smell filled the air. There was a big pot in the middle of a fire, the sauce within it came to a boil and one of the villagers filled a bowl up and gave it to him.
Before he ate Kenchi bowed his head.
