Douglas Cooper was speaking Chinese, which Eric Barber couldn't understand, and he didn't bother asking.

When they stood up, the Walkie-Talkie suddenly crackled, followed by Cheryl Suweton's panicked voice:

Her words on the Walkie-Talkie abruptly cut off.
Eric Barber, standing beside Sean Knight, was puzzled. He tried to speak on the Walkie-Talkie, but Elijah Hastings grabbed it from him, saying:
"Don't talk; she has a situation over there, and the Walkie-Talkie will easily reveal her position!"
Eric Barber understood immediately.
However, Van Derick's side didn't get it, and Veronica Wilson's voice came from the Walkie-Talkie:
"What's going on? What deserters? Be clear, over!"
