Sophia who was watching the show caught the pause in her words, she thought it was an odd time to hesitate to say what species you were unless you weren't telling the truth or the whole truth. "Another secret I must uncover… right?"- Sophia turned and spoke to the goddess, who was still and unmoving, almost like she had melded into the background of the world.
The goddess didn't speak but instead smiled and gestured to watch. Sophia turned again and... well… time seemed to have sped up. They were still near the lake, but a wooden house was here too. That wasn't there a second ago. "Wow I blinked, and things changed! What the heck!" Sophia was amazed at the slight changes. "Wait! Did I miss something important?"- Sophia lamented.
'Since she was her to learn important information, everything was important to learn and know, especially if this woman was her relative. Oh, and that man… erm werewolf. He could be her father/grandfather.' She had to observe and learn as much as she could. Well not anything that could burn her eyes out and leave her needing therapy. If these people are her parents, she doesn't want to see anything that could leave a haunting memory!
Any way as Sophia forced those thoughts away, she started to observe the surroundings again. Jasmine was working in a field now not too far from the lake but a distance from the wooden house, that had somehow appeared, to the annoyance of Sophia, who felt like she may missed out on more than she should have.
She couldn't help but think that she should have been paying attention, but she wasn't and now she missed important clues, which she was doing again because she wasn't paying attention! Damn it!
As Sophia forced herself to concentrate, she saw Jasmine touching the fields with her bare hands, shoving her fingers into the dirt, whilst closing her eyes. As she saw this scene something spectacular happened. The ground, which looked newly turned over, ready for planting and sowing seeds began to sprout at a speed visible to the naked eye. It was shocking to say the least.
Sophia stared at jasmine unblinkingly, not understanding how she was doing this. It was amazing. 'And must have something to do with the lie or half lie she told.'- Sophia though.
Sophia didn't take he eyes of this scene as she didn't want to miss any clues and as she was watching jasmine preform some kind of magic. She noticed a presence not too far from her and turned to look. She got a big shock as it was Althander, who was standing not too far from where she was, also watching Jasmine with a looked of pure disbelief on his face. 'Hmph! Well at least I'm not the only one shocked.'- Sophia thought as she turned back to the unfolding scene. Jasmine, who was unaware she was being watched as she had her eyes closed, continued what she was doing until she was happy with the progress she made.
She pulled her hands out from the ground and stood up, dusting her hands together with a smile on her face, observing her achievements. She turned around and froze, her face still plastered with her smile.
She had been exposed! She is screwed. She knew it. Why did she think she could use her powers out in the open like that and not get exposed! She just wanted to eat potatoes!
"I can explain!"- Jasmine said in a panic, after a while. But she couldn't think of a reasonable explanation.
Althander, after composing himself, spoke. "Ok, I'm listening for your explanation."
