Actually, If one looked closer she would have noticed that there were a few people, who weren't around her before this creep of a guy showed up, was now surrounding her almost inconspicuously and looking very angry at the guy who had grabbed her arm.
It would be strange to have so many strangers willing to protect a complete stranger but then again, some situations can summon the protectiveness of others. Anyway, Sophia just wanted to get out of this situation and didn't want to ruin the groups night out even if it wasn't her fault, so she said to the group "Come on guys, let's not let that creep ruin the night, Okay?"
"Ok Its too crowded here anyway, So let's all go upstairs shall we?" The extremely handsome stranger said, reaching for Sophia's hand, which she gave him and then he looked over to another man who was wearing a navy suit, this man walked up to her now terrified ex-pervert, who seemed to have seen a ghost and was extremely pale now and grabbed his arm, dragging him out of the venue.
The music in the club then resumed and most of the people on the dance floor who were watching the show, acted as if it didn't happen and continued to enjoy their night. As people started to laugh and dance again to the music and atmosphere return to normal and those who felt that this situation was a bit strange pushed this thought away and continued their night.
Meanwhile upstairs in the VIP area…...
Sophia and her group of friends were led to the seating area, that was relatively quiet enough that you just had to raise your voice a little to be heard.
Her hand was still in the handsome man's hand,(Who by the way she still didn't get the name of) which wasn't grasped too tightly, like her was afraid of hurting her. There was enough seating for everyone to sit comfortably but the atmosphere was quite awkward.
He brought her to the two-seater sofa and sat down with his hand still holding hers. "Are you going to let my hand go?" Sophia said while laughing awkwardly. "Oh yea?! Sorry." He said while looking somewhat embarrassed, but she could tell he still didn't want to let go of her hand, and to be honest she didn't want to let go of his hand either but she felt eyes on her and it was a not a comfortable feeling, besides she just met him, and she didn't even know his name still.
"My name is Alexander Hillson." He said stretching out his hand to her, he was looking at her with a smile as he introduced himself as if he knew what she was thinking. He was too handsome. She couldn't look away.
"My name is Sophia Jackson, thanks for trying to help us downstairs, by the way. It was a strange situation." She said to him, while expressing an awkward face, she didn't want to mention the kiss at all, it was embarrassing and bringing it up again will only embarrass her further.
The handsome man now known as Alexander, realised she didn't want to bring up the kiss, so he played along and didn't bring it up either. "I'm Sorry you had to go through that, it not something I want to happen in my club. To anyone." He stated, seemingly still quite angry about her being harassed and then he looked at her arm, he knew it was a little bruised from that damned perverts grip and he was Mad, but he didn't want to think about it, as he would lose his temper in front of her and he didn't want to scare her and leave her with a bad impression of him. He will deal with that guy later, that's for sure.
"I'm going to make sure it doesn't happen again to anyone." He continued, then suddenly he turned to the side. "Max, make sure to add more security and get some people to monitor the club goers. We can't have out guests being harassed and make sure to kick out the troublemakers. If this continues, people won't feel safe coming to the club."
As he stated this the group finally noticed a man standing just off to the side of Alexander, like a damned ghost, who appeared out of nowhere. It shocked Sophia as she normally had some spatial awareness and would notice her surroundings, but this guy was standing there and just now did she didn't noticed at all.
She felt embarrassed YET again for the umpteen time and she didn't like this feeling at all. She only came out to go clubbing and have a good time, but she has basically felt embarrassment for most of it! She gave Max a 'I'm sorry I didn't notice you' look and he looked at her and gave her a 'it's ok' smile.
Even though he knew the reason why she wouldn't notice him, even if he was standing right in front of her! but she will find out about this later.
Sam, Marc, Amanda, Jessica, Eddie, Tally and Jack were listening to all of this, while seated in the most comfortable sofas they have sat in for a long while, some mainly thought that he was really a good club owner given his other "job", most people would just say things on the surface to try and cover themselves but this guy seemed to really care about the club goers. Well this were his business after all.
Sophia had realised while this was happening, since they had been there she had been talking to Alexander and had not introduced her friends to him but when she looked at some of them, they didn't seem like it was their first time meeting him. They seemed too comfortable, it was odd since they said it was their first time coming to the club, unless they already knew the owner like Marc already knew Jackson. She didn't know that at that moment they were not as comfortable as they looked on the surface, not with him sitting in front of them like a normal man! Any way she pushed this thought to the back of her mind and introduced her friends to him.
"Alexander these are my friends Sam, Amanda, Jessica, Eddie, Jack, Tally and Marc but since Marc already knows Jackson, you probably already know him too and that would make my introduction of him a moot point." She stated, which earned a couple of chuckles from the group.
Alexander nodded his head to Marc whilst smiling and said "Yeah, I've known Marc since we were pups… I mean kids, first time he's been introduced to me Thought." He laughed a little awkwardly and the some in the group laugh just he did. 'Pups? What a weird slip of the tongue'-Sophia thought but let it go, maybe it's a nickname they had for their friend group?
