Waking up in a cold sweat Shirou looks around remembering the black-haired bandaged woman clearly.... He remembers her... he met her while in the fire ?... Did it really happen or was that just a dream and he's misremembering something? Shirou then heard a notifac.... a notification on his phone which he might as well just say is the greatest thing ever... he sees it's 01:30..... and that he missed 15 alarm clocks meaning he's way past of when he usually wakes up.....

.... Running into the kitchen to make sure nothing is destroyed he sighs in relief... but why isn't Taiga here? nor Sakura....
Or everything destroyed ?
He then notices a note on the kitchen table.
" Sorry that we didn't wake you up Shirou you just looked too tired so me and Sakura didn't try to wake you up.... Don't worry I ate earlier with gramps also P.S Sakura made my usual lunch for me and herself before saying that she has work to do at home. ' Well at least I have a day off again...' Shirou thinks smiling fondly and wishing Taiga good luck... mostly because if Taiga loses, she will be upset... and an upset Taiga is a super hungry tiger.... also, dangerous. Anyways Shirou goes back to the shed where he left Norikatas Emiya's book.
Walking in there he picks up the book and immediately starts reading "If you're reading this then that means you have magic circuits - congratulations.... Anyways you know that you have circuits but not their quality and maybe you might have missed some circuits or their quality as all humans do, for that reason Magus have created a magecraft called Structural Grasp/Structural Analysis, to make sure you didn't miss anything you didn't see.
Structural Analysis/Structural grasp - is a magecraft designed to allow a magus to meticulously analyze the composition and properties of objects, some people are good enough to even see the past of the object - up to some point-, though it usually costs more prana, seeing how it was made... But I don't recommend trying to do so at the start or actually learning to do so with this spell since I have prepared a couple of mysteries able to do so easier and with less stress on your magic circuits.
Now while saying this....
Don't... ABSOLUTELY Don't think it's useless, as other magus think, just because it's a basic information gathering skill since there are better magecrafts or mysteries that are able to do the same thing but better and also inform you about the information you have not known yet. I learned personally that any magecraft you learn is important to remember forever so that you can use whenever you need to.... plus cost effective.
To use structural grasp, you have to visualize the objects inside and pass magical energy through an object but before that, you have to break what you want into steps like - 1 . Judging the concept of creation 2. Hypothesizing the basic structure. You can add more steps to it to learn more basic information from a structural grasp, but don't overdue it since your magic circuits - are probably recently awakened from the time you're reading this, meaning they can - easily degrade from you first casting spell even if the magecraft is simple and doesn't use much units of prana... But always remember everything can kill you... even your magic circuits.
Ah, right I forgot to tell you since all of this is basic information that any magi know is that you can create your own aria, Aria is what some call Incantations or Chants to hypnotize themselves to use the magecraft and their circuits more effectively.
You might not have gotten that but let's just imagine a runner that can usually run 20 miles an hour but if you hypnotize them and command them to run 30 miles an hour they will unconsciously push past their limits while not running 30 miles per say since the fastest a man can run around 27 and a half-mile an hour. They would be able to let's say 25 miles an hour.
So creating an Aria is important. Also, the greater the meaning behind the contents of an Arias to the magus, the better the final result will be. The stronger the self-hypnosis, the more the magus can optimize the use of his Circuits. Changing the words of an incantation does not mean much; what matters is the meaning behind them.
But for the start you can just think of the steps for this magecraft to activate.
This is as far as I can teach you from the book since I'm not physically there to tell and teach you how to use Structural Grasp so good luck.... and don't die young Kiritsugu...

Shirou finished reading the book with a blank look in his eyes before shaking his head.
Before gaining a giddy expression on his face.
Finally, after years of asking he's learning magic... or Magecraft...Mysteries ? Spells ??
Why does he keep changing and using different words for Magecraft ?
And plus, it seems like a cool spell being able to see the history of an object.
Now what did he say do first ?
' Creating an Aria? does that mean I can just create a few words ?" But Shirou just shakes his head ' No, he said that there has to be meaning behind those words... wait can the meaning be anything... can the meaning behind why I want to learn magecraft also work... ' To find a cure.... to find the reason... to follow.... no trace the reason for Kiritsugu's curse and then by that trace to create a cure.... to trace.... to trace!!' "Trace On" Shirou screams in the end while making a nerve circuit by hitting his nerve with the hammer in his imagination..... and he found it to be easier... a lot easier.... "WHY COULDNT I FOUND THIS OUT EARLIER ?!" Shirou screams looking at the book for this moment he hates Norikata at making him go through that pain when he had an easier way...
"Sigh.. whatever... Trace Off" Shirou says quietly deactivating his nerve circuit.... before realizing....
' Maybe I should have kept it on... I am about to learn structural grasp and I don't think I have infinite nerves...' Shirou thinks realizing the dumb mistake he made...." What was the word that the guy used when he dropped the phone? ah right..... FUCK !!!! " Shirou screams "Leason learned... remember to be careful with nerve circuits.... and not be dumb. "
"Sigh... so I have to put prana inside of something .... I will just try all of them.... wait how do I combine Mana and Od to create prana ? Didn't he say that magic circuits create prana automatically by combining od and mana ? But can my nerve circuits do the same thing ? Well doesn't hurt to try it out..." Shirou decides while looking around to try structural grasp on....before landing on Kiritsugu's bag full of different weapons....'Wait didn't he write that you can add more steps to learn more... can maybe I learn...their... History?... The History of Kiritsugu from the guns? I was always curious about her past... " Shirou thinks wanting to find out why she has any guns at all.
So, running towards the bag Shirou instantly picked up a gun. "Trace On" created a circuit and.... 'wait how do I push prana inside of the gun?' Shirou realizes he doesn't know how to do that.... 'can I just imagine something pushed into it?' Shirou thinks not knowing what else to do and tries it "Trace On" he imagines something going into the gun... something like... ye ... something like a river... *snap* and the gun snapped in his hand....
" what ?"
" WHAT !? " Shirou screams again.
' Why did it snap ?!.... Did I put too much energy into it ?!' Shirou thinks 'Ok I won't be trying it on the gun anymore for a while....'
Shirou stands up... before falling down holding his arm as his nerve having exhausted all of it * prana * reverted back to a normal nerve which is completely strained from becoming a magic circuit and using * prana * with it causing him to feel pain from the nerve that is... slowly starting to regenerate ?
All the while he was grabbing his hand with his other hand hard enough that it was leaving small indents of his nails.
Which last for 15 minutes' before he's starting to feel the pain lessen.
And when it finally stopped, Shirou just stared at his now red arm...
Before starting to look around thinking on what else to use structural grasping.... Before spotting old utensils most of them were made out of wood but there were some made out of metal. Picking up a wooden spoon Shirou tries the same thing as to the gun, but it just snaps in many different places... as he holds his arm again.
' This will take a while... Norikata did say I have to walk with death, right ? '
*An hour later*
We see Shirou with a cut board in his hands sighing in frustration looking at all the broken utensils around him.... why isn't it working? it's not like he can see how much he can fil.... 'Can I imagine a cup being filled with water?' Shirou thinks while looking at the cut board, taking a big breath "Trace On" and Shirou imagines an empty cup and slowly water drops start falling there. Shirou sat there for a minute imagining a cup being filled with water drops until.... *Crack*... a crack appeared on the cup so he stopped dropping the water on it... Opening his eyes he sees.... The Cut Board glowing !!!
'What to do now !!!' Shirou panics not knowing what to do now. So he just followed the book's instructions and imagined the steps....Judging the concept of creation.....Hypothesizing the basic structure...Wait how would I see the history ?.... I will try it later...*Snap* ' Shirou looks at the broken cut board.... *Sigh* " I panicked and overflowed it with prana didn't I ?" Shirou asked the air around himself but got no reply as he starts to hold his other arm as his 1st arm is hurting way to much to hold something.
* Sigh * 'What time is it now ?' Shirou thought while thinking to pull out his - before remembering that he should wait a bit so he doesn't drop the - phone seeing it 2:49, about to put his phone back he stopped realizing...

Quickly he googles what do archaeologists look for in ancient items. After 30-40 minutes of googling he saw that most archaeologists look for the accumulated years, every manufacturing process, composition material, the skill of its making, the experience of its growth meaning how was it used and who used it.... ' I guess I will try once with just judging the concept of creation and Hypothesizing the basic structure and after that, I will try to add all of the concepts in order...' Shirou thinks while picking up another utensil and trying to put od into it but it doesn't work.... 'Ah... My nerve circuit disappeared...' Shirou thinks looking at the body part where he last saw a faint blue glow feeling the slowly but surely becoming a familiar pain...

And so, Shirou * sacrifices * another nerve to create a circuit...
Putting * Prana * into a wood spoon Shirou fills up the cup again but this time he's very careful and when a small crack appeared he instantly stopped pouring the od and thinks' judging the concept of creation' He sees it how it was created.... just how it was not by whom or with what nor where just how.... it was cut from something then cut more and more... then sanded... that's all he saw.... 'Now hypothesizing the basic structure' and now he sees more... he doesn't see from what it was cut nor from whom cut it, not even when it was created... But what he sees now is, how it is shaped, not only the outside but the inside too, there are actually a lot of hollow spots in it so it's easy to break and how much it weighs a total of 10.5 ounces...
'Now should I try to add those... well Norikata did write that to be a magus is to walk with death so let's walk with it...' Shirou thinks concentrating more ' the composition material... from what is it made..' And Shirou sees that what he thought was an oak spoon was actually a birch spoon. The spoon was created from birch... that's all he learned from it since it's completely made out of birch.
Shirou starting to sweat a bit, actually his head hurting a bit but he ignores it 'skill of its making meaning how well made it is...' and he saw... it was made quite badly like something without a soul was making it not even trying....how much work was put into it... which was not much
Shirou's sweat became bigger and a medium headache appeared 'experience of its growth meaning what happened to it' He sees it was put with other utensils in a sealed package and sent to a shop where someone bought them then it was sold from them to... Kiritsugu but she forgot about them until finding them and just left them here...
Shirou feels the headache increasing but he pushes trough ' accumulated years meaning when was it made and how long did it exist' He saw that it was made in 2008 and existed for 12 years and 9 months and 24 days 6 hours 28 minutes 45 seconds
Shirou feels like his head was about to explode but he pushes on.... it..... it still doesn't hurt like the fire... he doesn't feel the pain just that his head is really agitated... ' manufacturing process meaning who and how it was made' he sees that a man cut down a tree with a chainsaw.... then a machine was creating the spoon but something pushed it making those holes... that explains why there was no work put into it... he sees every detail how a machine slicked it into shape... then another one sanded it a bit too much since the machine was a bit old and needed to be replaced...
....*Thud*.... And so Shirou passed out from overexerting himself...
*50 minutes later*
"Ah what happened ?" Shirou asked placing his hand on the head and wincing a bit from an uncomfortable feeling "Ah right... Success?.... kinda..." Shirou says looking at the spoon... "Maybe I should try it one more time?" Shirou asked himself.
So, he picked up a knife and tried to do the same... he was surprised when it was filled with Prana so easily that he stopped doing it and just looked at the knife... He then grabbed another knife and the same happened he effortlessly fueled the knife with Prana not activating structural grasping yet...
Still looking at the knives in confusion Shirou picked up a fork and it's A LOT harder to fill it up than the knives....' Why ?' Shirou thinks looking at the knives this time trying structural grasping on them and.... Instantly..... he knew everything.... absolutely everything about them.....Dropping the knives in shock Shirou tries to comprehend what he just learned they weigh 8.564 ounces they were made in Houston and transported overseas to some man who likes to collect knives before he lost them and... "Murm.... murmmdm...." Shirou didn't even realize he said all of the knife's history out loud....
Looking at the knife he dropped Shirou slowly turns his head to the bag... he's pretty sure he saw a knife in the bag...Quickly running towards the bad he starts looking through the bag until he found it, the combat knife. Quickly filling it with * Prana *, he activated structural grasp and... what... What?!.... Kiritsugu...
His mother....
killed her father?....
But not...
Not only him...
But... many others... many with this knife... with unnatural skill and speed she practically teleported sometimes... And what he saw for one of the kills was a.... vampire ?.... well whatever he saw was drinking blood from.... he also saw her fight with Kirei who punched her so hard that she was sent flying... so magus have super strength also ? Probably from a magecraft...
After processing what he saw Shirou continues looking at the knife...
Before turning his head to the guns.... and structural grasping a gun finding out that it takes a bit less than earlier -but still more than with a knife- * Prana *.
And sees that what she could do with guns was amazing.... terrifying but amazing .... it felt like he was watching a movie from his phone.... Kiritsugu was amazing she defeated everyone with normal wepons while her opponents had magecraft capable to destroy buildings.... well she did destroy a couple of building with grenades....
But....
WHY IS SHE DOING THAT ? SHE'S A HERO RIGHT ? SO WHY IS SHE KILLING PEOPLE ? LIKE HER FATHER !!!
He hates it.... HE ABSOLUTELY HATES IT!!!
Seeing all of this from her weapons....HE ABSOLUTELY FUCKING HATES IT !
