"Who are you," Akki asked. Her legs stopped the movement she saw a glimpse of someone inside. She walked closer and discovered a man in his 20s was sitting on a chair.
His composure was well maintained, his skin was bright, and his hairs were glossy, reflecting some shades of platinum. Akki observed his attire and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. They were stunning to death.
"Nice to meet you, Akki," he said in a gentle voice, stood up gently, and walked a few steps towards her.
"Let's get seated. We are going to chat for longer," that person said with a pleasant smile.
"Sure," she said and took a deep breath. Her heartbeat wasn't steady. She had numerous questions in her mind but decided to stay calm.
They made themselves comfortable on a sofa chair that was near the window. Akki was a bit nervous as she didn't remember this person.
'Who could this person be? Is it the first time I'm meeting him?' she thought, looking at him.
"Are you feeling well now?" he asked.
"Yes, I'm fine now. Thanks for asking," Akki answered nervously.
"You're welcome. I know you have many questions for me so let me introduce myself" That person looked into her eyes and added.
"My self-Andrew, and from now on, I will be your Guardian."
"Guardian… what's that supposed to mean?" she asked out of curiosity. 'Doesn't these things exist only in fairy tails she thought to herself.
"Do you remember, before you awake in this body, someone saying that he will grant you another life"
"Ya, the Supreme Guardian. But how do you know that?"
"I'm assigned by the Supreme Guardian to take care of you in this life. People who couldn't live the way they wanted are granted a second life with a Guardian to protect them and guide them towards their path."
"So, it's like a system, right?" she was curious to know that fantasy things exist.
Andrew stood up and picked up a book from the mini bookshelf. He handed it over to Akki, and she looked at the title MY COLD SYSTEM.
"Yeah, just like that," he smiled.
"You will be given a few tasks to do, and based on how you solve them, you will be rewarded with Star points. And after gaining them, you can use them the way you want," he added.
He smiled and sat on one of his knees, extending his hands towards her, "I, Andrew, will be your Guardian. Akki, do you accept me?"
Akki holds his hands, and with a smile, she says, "Sure, but I still have some questions."
He stood up, pat her head, and said, "This is your new life; live it the way you want to live."
*knock* *knock*
They heard a knock at the door, and Andrew suddenly disappeared. Anna was shocked by the movement and rushed to open the door.
It was a familiar figure. Alex enters the room, hiding something in the bag in his hands. Akki noticed he was carrying something with him but didn't say anything.
"Young Master, were you busy," he asked as she took little time to open the door.
"No, I just zoned out for a movement," she said, avoiding eye contact.
"I know it's hard for you to be locked up in this tiny space," he said, patting her head.
'Tiny space, huh… I can spend my whole life here,' she thought, the place wasn't even tiny but a vast, luxurious room filled with all kinds of luxury items.
He got inside and sat down on the sofa chair, giving her a report, he moved his fingers through his hair, and he seemed tired, but his face was as cheerful as ever.
"The doctor said you have to stay in the hospital for three more days," he said with a sigh. Akki stared at him without saying a word.
"Will you be okay Young Master? Three days are too much. You will get bored easily!" He concerns.
"Yeah… I have a bit of strength left inside me," Akki said with a still expression.
Alex slowly hands over an iPad to her, "I know you will get bored, so… I brought your things here. Although they are not allowed inside, I made it through it."
Akki's eyes brightened up the movement as she saw the iPad. She jumped out of excitement and gave Alex a hug. His ears and cheeks turn red, but he still has a smile.
She sat on the couch, unlocked her iPad, and sighed after looking at the home screen. It was weird, so she decided to change it instantly. She glanced at the Gallery and some of her previous chats, and suddenly, something came in front of her. It was like a screen, and she could read it.

With this, their conversation ends, and she begins to scroll on her iPad. She gained a fragment of memory that was attached to that item. She clicked on the Gallery and saw a few photos of her and her friends. To be exact, the people who act as her friends.
'These people suck,' she kept scrolling, looking at the photo of an event where people were making fun of her. Forced her to dress in a weird Halloween costume to make her the Laughing stock.
She even read the texts where the people she called 'Friends' never helped her whenever she needed help. She was lonely every time, unable to make good friends, and bullied by other kids, and whenever she tried to reach out for help, people just ignored her.
Even the professors ignore her while announcing the result, even if she's good at her studies. A few teachers went too far and started spreading rumors about her that weren't even true.
This made her distance apart from everyone, and she couldn't do anything to help herself. At some point, even she started feeling that she was useless and everything was happening because it was her own fault.
Akki closed the Gallery, opened the Messages, and was stunned to look at them. They were still making fun of her when she was about to die, 'What a bunch of Pigs, ' she sighed. She remembered a few names which were in her memory. She looked at their texts and thought, 'These people got no shame. They didn't even think of removing her before chatting like this.'
Reading every text, she understood what was happening in her absence. She was aware of the events that were going to happen at school and how they would bully her again.
She saw a text from someone she used to have a crush on. He was an inapproachable person. The son of a mighty businessman, Young Master Ken.
'No one is coming to save you. There is no such thing as Hero. There is only you who decide that you are worthy.'
She felt as if it was meant for her. She opened the school's article page and got all her needed information. The school will organize an event, and Akki decided to show up.
'I will crush you all with a snap of fingers,' she grins.
