After saying this, Owen didn't speak anymore and just walked away. Olivia looked at him walking away and huffed frustratedly.
Thereafter, she started to look around. They were in the middle of the forest, in a clearing where a small cottage was.
However, no one went inside this said cottage. Instead, they perched under the big trees and talked or rested. It was a calm and serene scene.
This seemed to be the definition of calm before the storm.
Olivia also went and sat under a big oak tree. She then closed her eyes and began to think.
She knew that escaping was not a good idea and that was why she stayed for now. Plus it wasn't like there was someone waiting for her over in the human world.
After she lost her parents, she pushed everyone away and ended up all alone with no one to care for her. She preferred it that way since she felt anyone close to her would get hurt or die.
So she was pretty sure she wouldn't be missed. And even if she was, it would only be the manager at the cafe who will miss her and only because he would have to hassle to find someone new to replace her.
Thinking like this, Olivia wondered if she would really be happy to return or if she really wanted to.
Still the situation she was in way too ridiculous. The fact that she got abducted by vampires in broad daylight was just so out of the blue.
Oh right...she knew something wasn't right. Weren't vampires supposed to burn in the sunlight? These vampires look totally fine after spending half a day under the sun.
Wait, would that mean that garlic and holy water also don't work on them. Wouldn't that mean they pretty much have no weakness? Well except for the witches' spells. And maybe stakes?
Well she hoped this war is short and ends as quickly as possible with them as the victors.

Owen after walking away from Olivia, gathered his siblings and directly went inside the cottage.
The interior of the cottage was so much bigger than the exterior. It was an empty room with doors on each side. Max took the lead, walking to the door straight ahead and the rest followed silently.
When they got to the door, Max took on his vampiric form, using his claws to pierce his finger. Then he allowed the blood to drip onto the door handle. There was a subtle glow before everything became dormant again.
Max's blood had been soaked in by the door handle, allowing them entry. It was a spell put on the door, allowing only those with the blue-blood of the royal vampire family to enter.
This is to protect the secrets past the doors from getting out.
Thereafter, Maximilian went in with his siblings. Inside sat his parents and the vampire prophetess discussing something.
However, the moment their mother saw them, she immediately stood up and went over to them. It happened in the blink of an eye and that's saying a lot for vampires. She was so fast, they didn't even see her getting up or coming over to them.
Well that wasn't unexpected from centuries old vampire queen. A small smile bloomed on the lips of the vampire queen as maternal love filled her eyes.
"Oh my babies. It's so good to see you after all this time apart. My beautiful boys."
As she spoke, she hugged Max and Owen as if her life depended on it. Max and Owen hugged her back before letting go.
Then their father who had been standing there watching walked over to them and placed his hands on their shoulders.
"Looks like you two have have been well. Heard you were in a bit of a pickle so we came to help. Even brought the shadow warriors with us."
As their father spoke, he patted their shoulders with measured strength. His voice thundered through the room, commanding the respect of everyone there. However it was softer than usual as he spoke with the compassion of a father.
"Where is the little witch?"
The vampire prophetess asked all of a sudden.
"There is a witch here?" The queen asked looking aggressive. She hated witches from the bottom of her heart. Maybe more than anyone else so this reaction wasn't unexpected.
"It's complicated, Your Majesty. Therefore, you mustn't act rashly." The prophetess said, her tone firm.
No one was allowed to speak to the royal family that way but it was allowed for the prophetess. Because she knew a lot more than them and had to stop them when they were doing something wrong. Plus, she was more than a millennia old which was the oldest of all the vampires everywhere.
Therefore, she still had the respect of the royal family even though she wasn't as powerful as them. However, she only looked like a teenage girl as she sat there calmly. She was different from most vampires. She stopped aging physically when she gained the ability to see. As a prophetess, she had the ability to to see glimpses of the future in the form of prophecies.
Hence, the vampire queen actually listened and calmed down, only questioning with her wavering gaze if there was really a witch around. However no one responded to her question as they heard a commotion outside.
They exchanged surprised glances before going out to check what was going on.
Outside, everyone was watching a specific place silently, there was not a single sound in the world area. For some reason, Max had a gut feeling that Olivia was involved in whatever was going on at that moment.
And he was right. At the side stood Olivia staring straight at a female vampire who stood right across her.
Max sighed, already feeling a headache coming on. Owen looked at him and smiled. All of a sudden he didn't think it was that big of a deal that Olivia was a witch as long as they made each other happy.
But he would let them figure all that out for themselves.
The queen also saw this scene and didn't know what to make of it. However, that's not what surprised her. What surprised her was the fact she didn't have the urge to attack her like she did with others witches.
She was quite like Gabriel in this aspect. After what the witches had done to their family, she did go crazy at the sight of witches. However, at the moment, as she looked at the silver haired witch with blazing silver eyes, she felt like she would actually like her if she got to know her.
