the main hall was in awe at Ryder's new power evolution. Jaune placed his hands over her wound, trying to prevent any more blood from escaping. Ren ran over to Jaune and Weiss while Nora rushed over to Ruby same as Oscar. Cinder steps back as she witnesses the pure rage before her.
"What, just happened to him?" Jaune asked.
"His Semblance... it.... it evolved." Ren said. "His anger caused it's evolution."
Cinder growls lowly before she conjures up a fire blade.
"A little upgrade won't stop me!" Cinder said.
Ryder didn't say anything and charged her with a newfound speed and grabbed her. Together and with Ryder's force, the went straight through the walls of the main hall and Ryder flew away from the Academy with Cinder in his grasp. As they flew, Ryder gained altitude.
"You killed Pyrrha!" Ryder said, pure rage in his voice. "Then you hurt Weiss!! I'm going to kill you!!"
Ryder grabbed Cinder's face and rockets down towards the ground. They hit the ground like a meteor causing a cloud of dust and debris to rise up from a newly formed crater. In the crater, Cinder's aura flickered before Ryder began to beat the hell out of her with his bare hands. Each Punch struck her face and caused the ground to shatter like glass. Cinder then reveals her Grimm arm and uses that and her normal arm to grab Ryder's wrists. Cinder then surges with magical energy and blasts Ryder away. Ryder flew out of the crater, but he landed on his feet. Cinder flew up out of the crater and glared at Ryder.
"You actually think you can kill me!?" Cinder asked furiously.
"I don't think I will, I know I will." Ryder shot back.
This only served to make Cinder angry as she conjured up a ball of flames around her. Ryder didn't bother to give her time to charge up an attack and lunged at her. Cinder saw this and launched a beam of fire at Ryder who dodged it and continued to fly right at her with a fist at the ready. When he reached her, Ryder sent his fist forward and struck Cinder square in the face and launched her back a few feet. He chased after her and punched her again in the face sending her back even further. Cinder went to throw her own punch, but Ryder caught it and squeezed hard. Beginning to crush her right hand. Cinder brought up her Grimm hand and tried to punch him with it but when her fist made contact with Ryder's face Ryder was sent back few inches.
Ryder then countered by throwing a hard left hook to her jaw and this sent her flying backwards while spinning around. Cinder stabilized herself and conjured a multitude of fire spears around her.
"How about this!?" Cinder shouted.
Cinder then swung her hands forward and launched the barrage of fire spears at Ryder. Ryder brought up a Magical barrier and the spears imbedded themselves into the barrier. Cinder smiles and snaps her fingers. The spears glow and explode creating a large explosion that enveloped Ryder completely. The smoke cloud removes Cinder's visibility on her target. She then looked at her right hand before something struck her in the stomach. It was Ryder. Her aura flickered once more before she went flying backwards from the impact of the punch. Ryder blasts off after her and grabbed her by the neck and flew back to Haven Academy. When they got closer, Ryder let go of Cinder and threw a hard punch that sent her rocketing back towards the main hall.
In the main hall, Hazel had been knocked out of the building by Nora before being dragged back in by Weiss using a Grimm she had killed. Suddenly, Cinder breaks through the roof and hits the floor at high speeds creating a huge dent in the floor. Cinder's aura shattered and she coughed before groaning in pain.
"Cinder!" Emerald cried out.
Ryder was not far behind as he flew in with a punch ready. He hits Cinder at full speed and causes an explosion of debris. Everyone covers their eyes. Raven was in shock and awe, who was this guy!? Able to go toe to toe with a Maiden. When the dust cloud settled, Ryder had his fist on Cinder's face. His yellow dragon ball styled aura turned back to its green color as did his eyes while his hair stopped being spikey. Ryder's aura flashed. Too much pressure and power. Ryder removed his fist from Cinder's face and stood over her as he glared down at her. Cinder looked to the side and coughed out blood. Emerald saw this and she looked to be on the verge of tears. Ryder grabbed Cinder by the neck and lifted her up into the air.
"Any last words?" Ryder asked.
Cinder down at him while she tried to break free from his grasp.
"Salem will have your head." Cinder said with a glare.
Ryder began to tighten his grip on Cinder's neck causing her to start choking. Her struggles to free herself continued and intensified. Emerald had to act but she was too late when she hears a sickening snap. Cinder went limp before Ryder tossed her body aside. Everyone who knew Ryder was stunned he did that. Ryder's anger began to fizzle out.
"That was for Pyrrha." Ryder said.
Leonardo tried to escape but Ryder saw this. He decided to let the coward run. Emerald was devastated as she looked at Cinder's dead body.
"Emerald, we gotta go." Mercury said.
Emerald didn't respond.
"Emerald!" Mercury shouted.
Emerald's emotions got the best of her before her Semblance went off. The room changed colors as a giant form of Salem appeared. Ryder looked at this with wide eyes. What followed was straight out of a horror movie, Salem let out a haunting scream and dove at everyone before the illusion ends. When it ended, Emerald, Mercury and Hazel were gone. Raven and Vernal were still present. Seeing them, Ryder then started to slowly walk towards them. Raven readied her sword.
"You either help us get the Relic, or I give you the same treatment I gave Cinder." Ryder threatened.
Raven was silent for a moment before sighing and sheathing her sword.
"Fine." Raven said.
With that, Ryder turns off his semblance and his eyes return to normal. He then turns around and looked at everyone else. His eyes widen seeing Weiss standing and seemingly okay.
"Weiss. H-How are you?" Ryder asked, confused.
He could've sworn she was critically injured. Weiss just smiled and looked down at the blood-stained spot where her wound used to be.
"You can thank Jaune for that one." Weiss said.
Ryder looked at Jaune.
"I unlocked my Semblance. It appears that I can amplify aura." Jaune said.
"Hey! My Semblance was called Amplify first!" Ryder said jokingly.
This caused his friends to laugh. But one of the laughs caught him off guard. It was Blake.
"Wha-when did you get here?" Ryder asked, confusion all over his face.
"it's a long story." Blake admits.
"After today, there's going to be a lot of long stories." Ryder said.
