/"What is it with you?,/" Tsol asks.
/"This battle./"
/"Yes, it’s going well. We are holding and soon, Ren’s army will get tired, but not mine./"
True, the Smaudlun are trained to survive hours, reserving their stamina well. This is what they are waiting; for Ren’s army to get exhausted and then, they will strike harder.
But this isn’t what Asher is afraid of. He feels it, something has changed and the fact that he can’t seem to find Leona makes it even worse. He sighs and decides to take a stroll.
/"Where are you going?,/" Tsol asks him.
/"I need to check something,/" he says and quickly leaves the room.
/"Pff, coward,/" Tsol whispers.
He is looking outside the window, smiling at what he is witnessing. The Smaudlun push harder, and it seems that their plan is working.
