The morning is cold, most men are freezing, jumping so they can keep the blood flowing. Nasias is there to greet them, to send them off.
Aryan appears, alongside Kat; she has decided to come with them.
/"You are nervous,/" she comments.
/"I’m fine,/" he denies it.
/"I won’t say anything about what happened last night,/" she whispers.
Yes, it wasn’t just Leona and Zed that committed a sin last night, but them as well. It seems that they can’t avoid the fate that was created for them long before their birth. They thought they could follow different paths, be together as they tried once more in the past.
But this isn’t how this story is supposed to unfold, creating distractions to them. And here we are, Leona walking gracefully alongside Zed, both wearing long black clothes that go up to their necks.
