/"Protect the prince!,/" Kat screams, and the guards surround him. The dark shadows start expanding, closing in.
/"We can’t stand here doing nothing,/" Aryan whispers at her.
/"Your protection is our priority./"
/"Then why am I here? Let me help!./"
/"Look,/" a guard shows with his trembling finger. The view becomes clearer as the shadows start disappearing.
/"Oh no, everyone is…,/" Kat mumbles seeing what’s left. Bodies laid around, cut in half and dismembered.
/"Who would do that?,/" Kat murmurs in disarray.
/"A monster that has no mercy,/" Aryan responds in terror.
They cautionary walk around, making sure they won’t trigger something like a trap. Kat has placed her hands on top of her mouth, not wanting to confront what has happened. ‘Monstrous’, she thinks terrified.
