/"Are you sure you don’t want me to come too?,/" she asks him one last time.
/"They don’t know what you are, and Io said to lay low. Remember what happened the moment you tried to visit her?,/" Aryan says worriedly.
She scoffs, knowing that he is right.
/"It’s just, I’m not used staying away from a fight,/" she comments, pouting a little. He instantly grabs her cheeks and kisses her lips.
/"I love you; you know that right?,/" he says with his mesmerizing voice.
/"Just be careful. I thought my plate was full with just Asher and his men. Now we have to deal with my old nemesis too,/" she says, clearly irritated by that.
