/"I said, if you try and kill him, I’m taking him far away with me/" Leona repeats pretty much what she said.
/"Why?! Do you know that this guy was there with him?! He was there while we were being ambushed!/" Aryan can’t accept this.
/"And he was the one that inflicted wounds to my body, almost killing me. So don’t tell me about him, I know this guy./"
/"Then why are you keeping him?!./"
/"Because he came to me for help! And frankly, Maeve will decide if he stays or not!./"
Both men look at her, feeling bewilderment mixed with anger. Aryan can’t understand why she is acting like this. He clenches his teeth, feeling that this isn’t going somewhere.
/"Do as you wish/" Aryan says, removing himself from the area. Ren is still there, trying to comprehend what her plan is.
/"I hope you are right/" he tells her, going to bring Maeve.
