Her ears are ringing loud, her head is hurting like it’s split in half. She can’t hear most of the sounds, except the knock on the door.
She tries to stand up, but ends up falling on the ground. She stumbles around, trying to get to the door.
She finally opens it. Aryan is there having a worried face. She can see his lips moving, but she can’t make out what he is saying. The ringing won’t stop.
/"..understand?./"
/"..Leona?/" the sounds are like coming from the deep.
He notices how she grabs her head.
/"Are--in pain?./"
He touches her head, feeling her temperature. /"You are burning up./"
She loses control of her body and faints. Aryan catches her before she hits the floor. He carries her to his arms and places her inside the cold waters of the tub.
/"My God, you have a fever./"
He tries to control her temperature. She is awake but barely. She is gasping for air, holding his hand tight.
