/"Master, what do you mean, I’m not I--/" she is speechless.
/"What? I believe you have potential, and you are gonna become the next Grandmaster./"
She is standing there gawking.
/"You mean after Master Khan./"
/"I still have years as a Grandmaster. When I’m gone you will be more than ready to take my place./"
/"But Master Khan is named the next Grandmaster!./"
/"No. Master Khan is a candidate. I haven’t yet named the one./"
She shakes her head trying to realize what’s happening. She just came to sit next to him, not take his place.
She can’t see how he would choose her. She hasn’t done anything to prove her worth. Before she can say anything more they bring Kenna out to start.
They strap him into a chair and place him in the middle of the room.
/"What about Myriam father?/" Ren asks.
/"Not yet./"
